I heard Neil took a look at some of the original versions of show white and in some versions she ages while in the coffin. That and her pale appearance inspired him to make Snow White a vampire.

May I express my opinion? Don't get me wrong, the illustrations are beautiful. But I'm really don't like it when one takes a classic book, story or fairy-tale, and makes a horror interpretation of it in books, films or whatever. I'm a sucker of the original stories, maybe with a few Disney touches
