I've yet to be discouraged by this, actually. You can angle it like you would with a snow plow. So far my only complaint is that it's heavier than it looks. I now try to drag it backwards instead of lifting it.

I'm thinking a lot of purchasing this but I live in the city and I was wondering if I use one of those would be good for me? I'm asking this because it seams you can only direct the snow in front of you not on sides. If I do so I'll only push the snow on my neighbour next to me. What do you think ?

I was thinking of buying one. I too live in Chicago and the shared 2- car garage is in the alley. Nobody plows in front of the garages in the alley due to the speed bumps. Digging out by hand is too much for one person. This looks like a wise thing to use and gets the job done faster. Then say a full snow blower, get this instead. Also, we ended up with 17 inches of snow on Feb 16, 2021.

I do my walkways, and a small portion of my driveway in front of my garage doors (because it's easier than trying to maneuver my big snow blower there). I cannot say how it'd be for a full driveway. I wouldn't want to do any area bigger than, say, two or three of my decks.

However, if you have a low deck, you will need to throw it over the railing. With a shovel, you can't throw it over easy or that far. It piles up fast over the railing with a shovel. Especially if the deck is only 18" in. high. Use this to clear my deck and and egress to get to the garage for the snowblower. Perfect use and NO more backaches.
