Snow on Sani Pass. Well just a little...

We decided to venture off last weekend when there was a prediction of snow in the high lying areas of the Drakensberg/Lesotho. We knew the main snowfall would be the following day but we took the chance and ended up having the time of our lives.

Loved this, bru! We drove up and back from Knysna to Inhabane last week (around the same time you were out and about) and got some significant snow 60km northeast of Graaf Reinet--it was above freezing, fortunately, so roads were passable, just going slowly. Lorries had slid off or had been abandoned as they couldn't get over. We just slowed down, chose good routes in the slush, and got south and down in altitude where it was as if it had never happened, drove on to Bloem for the night! Good memories. I enjoyed your video of the ascent of Sani--hope to do it sooner than later.

I have done sani in a 2/4 to the hotel and had a few drinks and then went back own again Am planning to do it again with a few friends It was amazing
