Adam, or should I call you, Sir Gibbs? I've been following your channel since the beginning. At first, I couldn't believe my luck to find all these incredible vlogs and photos from someone on Vancouver Island! I'm from Nanaimo but have lived in Japan for too many years. I moved back to a house I bought in Nanaimo about 4 years ago but was a victim of fraud and my family and I moved back to Japan again to save money. Your channel keeps me close to home and your photos remind me of my hometown and where I long to be. Thanks so much for the years of amazing vlogs. I hope in the next couple of years I can move back to my house and get back to where my heart is. In the meantime, I watch and admire your talents with admiration.

A tree falling in the forest(I've heard one) sounds like a gun firing. When it crashes through a lot of branches it sounds like an elephant stampede in the woods. It leaves you a little shocked. Very good taste for Adam to suspend sales of prints that he has sold another time for perhaps more money.

How wonderful that your new "job" is working so well for you and that you seem to be having so much fun with it. Well done on the 50k and seeing Englishman River Falls in the snow is great - damn those grandchildren for providing the gravitational pull that brought us back to the UK! For me, that last shot has a great abstract crop waiting in it - bottom third of the photo cutting off the LHS so all you have is roots, the spherical boulder and three feet of the large tree trunk all in mono would work for me. All personal taste of course - thanks as ever and thanks for calling in to the Photography Pubcast get together the other night. It was a good event. Take care out there.....

Actually it is amazing how good the sound is. Much better than many vloggers have normally. So, that osmo was a good purchase. If you shoot in black and white, can you even notice? The only critic I have is, the long exposure on the water, it blends to much into the snow. I would like a high shutterspeed on the water fall, so it really shows as a waterfall. The composition is nice, somehow frost and snow is often better as a panorama, since it have to seen as a whole. Well unless it is in a portrait compostion, ofc.
