No matter which version you like.They can't be compared to each other. It's like comparing apples & oranges. Snow Patrol takes the song to a place Leona Lewis can never. Something about when a guy sings a lovely song like this is beautiful. Especially w/ the depth that he sings this song. Leona Lewis has a gorgeous voice that makes you think of angels.She takes this song to a more dreamy place. However, props to Snow Patrol 4 making such a beautiful song! Thank God for songs like this!!

Leona has not destroyed this song. She has just given her brilliant interpretation of it. She needed a song to display her wonderful vocal range. This is an ideal song for that. In fact she has generated alot of interest in Snow Patrol, who were being forgotten about. It is wonderful how different artists from different parts of the UK can find some common ground and produce a super result.

Both Leona and Snow Patrol sing the song beautifully. While Leona sings it emotionally and feminine Snow Patrol gives the perfect mix of emotion on the chorus and a melancholic almost stoicism throughout the song. Both are unique and perfect in their own style.

This is such a beautiful song , one of my favorites from Snow Patrol. Leona Lewis has a lovely voice, but I think this is the far superior version because she does tend to overdo it. This was my first time watching this video. I love the colors and the kind of somber tone overall, definitely fitting for the song.

I think that for most people, it's the version you hear first that you like best, and that holds for me in this case - I much prefer this over Leona Lewis' version - but I do respect that other people feel differently. This is just one of those songs that touches me whenever I hear it, and her version doesn't have the same effect. It is a good cover, but not comparable to the original. Thanks for having it up for us to watch. :)

I hate to judge, but anyone who disagrees is wrong by fact. This version can touch your soul like no other. The only thing Leona can do is make you want to touch yourself. Anything less is just that less.

I think to compare both versions is wrong. Borh versions are beautiful for their own reasons. Snow Patrol's version is hauntingly beautiful. It is powerful when a male artist sings a love song w/ such depth. He takes the song where LL can't. Leona Lewis's version is absolutely beautful. She has a 1 in a million voice & she really does the song justice. SHE brings the song to places SP does. What we need to celebrate is SP creating such a BEAUTIFUL song.
