Wondering if the ski's would have aluminum just on the edges and on snow if it would make turning better? I think I remember some cross-country skis I used in 1988 (bushwackers?) ...did they have metal edges?

Blue and black, blue and red. Don't care Medic and Moe is the important part. Love the 2wd slash, almost a classic now its been around so long and is still a popular choice. I agree great truck for a first speed-rig, nice learning curve to it. Can't wait to see some father son snow shredding action!

I've been wanting one of these Traxxas trucks (not really sure which model) for like a year now but keep telling myself I don't really need one. I think I'm going to have to pull the trigger and buy one sometime soon. They seem like so much fun regardless of your age. I've had friends tell me they're dumb and for kids. Well, if wanting an RC makes me a kid, then even though I'm 26... I'm proud to be a kid. When I was younger I had a little nitro powered RC that was terrifyingly fast and miss how much fun that was to both drive and work on. It taught me all of the basics of how suspension, steering, tires, and all of that mechanically work and taught me about torque, control, speed, grip, acceleration, braking and pretty much every aspect of driving a real car well before I was old enough to drive a real car. The skis on the front are pretty dang cool. I've seen the paddle tires for sand and seen people drive across the surface of lakes with them, but I've never seen the skis before.

Winter is coming so some skis are a great idea. Great upgrade Medic. We are actually planning on putting tracks on Dyllan’s 1/10 Summit and a plow , then he can shovel the sidewalk. 👍😉😁

sounds like me back when, jammed a ton of small screws from the insides of old rims to make ice spikes (CA'd in solid), couple small cheap pizza cutter wheels up front on a RWD buggy, worked great on ice anyway.
