Snow Summit Mountain Biking - Two Rad Days! Party Wave, Westride, Miracle Mile

Snow Summit delivers so much good footage. And this week, I had such little time to edit. So here are a bunch of clips from two rad days ripping Party Wave, Westridge, and Miracle Mile.
I chased a bunch of rippers but could only include a few. Sorry to those who made into the video, because I didn't alway add your name or social media info. Big sorry to those who didn't make the cut. I didn't exclude you because of quality, I really just ran out of the time I needed to make a good edit that included you.
I did include some footage of my wife and our new MTB friend, Katy. I think it's important to include these rad women on bikes. More women on bikes!

I was there Sunday, I crashed hard at 3:00 ish, I had no idea at the time but my rear axle was slowly coming unscrewed from all the gnarly braking bumps, I hit 650B landed and it was the straw that broke the camels back, wheel jammed up and right since one side was no longer secured, bent my seatstay and chainstay, bent my brake disc and bent my wheel. and I got a good scrape on the elbow from it, bike is 2 months old. I checked the axle before I started my ride for the day, needless to say, i'm not happy that that was able to happen even when it was checked properly before the ride, if it came unscrewed by a turn or 2 after a couple rides I would get it, but to come completely unscrewed and cause a catastrophic failure in one ride is ridiculous.

@@mtb_alan oh I'm fine, it's my bike I'm worried about, even though I wouldnt attribute it to user error (only because I consistently checked it) I'm willing to bet the manufacturer does not have the same opinion as me because no part really technically failed, I'm afraid I'm gonna be out a lot of money that I dont have to fix my bike.

Yew! The Rainbow Rock Garden is all right if you come in with momentum and stay in the middle and active. And dude, Hot Donna is probably more mellow than 650b. Hit it!

the waterfall is easy keep your momentum and the other side is honestly as smooth as any other landing. Hot Donna is intimidating but it's easy and the landing is very forgiving. the turn scares me more than the jump, carrying so much speed into it.

I'll say after having tried both party wave to miracle Mile and party wave to Westridge, Westridge is way easier than miracle Mile, the only difficult thing for me was that giant tabletop which I just rolled, miracle Mile on the other hand had a lot more tech, and me riding a mid travel trail bike did not help the predicament.

Right on! How many laps depends on your endurance. If you don’t need breaks during the descents and can skip lunch, maybe 10-12 laps?
