We are the indigenous people of these lands. Our kids do not belong in the white man's cages nor do our people need to be held at the white man's border walls. Our indigenous people should not be treated as if we are foreigners on our own lands. I did not know my tribal roots and it took me years to find out. I was poor and I didn't have much resources to use to be able to find out what tribe/tribes I rooted from. my kind of natives are not with that superiority complex. Everyone has room to grow. We are not perfect but choosing to not grow is an act of cowardice. Not repping African when your rooted from Africa is the same as our native "American" people not repping our tribal roots. Why be ashamed of our native side? Our Native roots are beautiful and they are the only reason we are not settlers on these lands.
