Snow Tires vs. All Weather and 3 Season Tires

The previous all weather tires I got from Kal Tires were GREAT on my Town and Country. Wg?? . went back to get the same ones , and they pushed a set of Solstice all weather tires because of availability. I find them annoyingly very loud. , wished I didn’t get them. It’s been a couple of years now and they “sound” like snow tires - all the time . They are good on the snow though .

ThE aWaReNeSs Hi ! I’m looking for all weather tires but I was specifically for Michelin Crossclimate + and when I went to a local store they suggested me to go with WRG4, my car is Toyota Corolla. Now, I’m a bit confused to go with which one. Can you please suggest me ?

Michelin Crossclimate +. I had bad experience with my Nokian WRG4’s. They don’t stop on time and slip even when they are brand new. They wear down pretty fast too. I change it to the Michelin Crossclimate 2 and they make a world of a difference. There is no comparison. Hands down on Michelin.

@@ericlaw2282 I had the same experience with the WRG4s. Poor wet traction and feel very vague on dry pavement. Snow traction is good however and this is the only area they do well. I live in northern Minnesota and they've gone from 11/32 to 6/32 in 16k miles since last fall. I'm having Nokian Ones put on this week. They're a touring all season I know, but Consumer Reports has tested and rated them as having excellent snow traction, good ice traction and good dry handling. I drive 90% on the highway and almost all of my driving is done in the summer. They're actually rated about 10 points higher than the WRG4 from their tests oddly enough. CrossClimate2 is the best all weather tire agreed.
