Wow. It's amazing how much detail goes into these rides. There's so much artistry in the set design in particular, but you never really see or notice it with the lights so low. I wish this ride was still around, but I'm glad this video exists so I can analyze it like the nerd I am. XD

llxFALLENxll they had two animatronics mirror each other, one being the witch and the other the queen. They faced each other with no actual mirror in between, and the witch was decorated from behind to look like the queen so the illusion would work when they turned.

I have been to DisneyLand and DisneyWorld so many times and I have NEVER once seen Dopey waving to you at the end. Maybe I was too excited to get off the ride to look up

It's possible that when you went on the Disney World version, they didn't have the Dopey figure there (possibly due to maintenance).

Rode this on my first trip in 2001 when I was 4 and to this day I remember how scared I was by the witch. I think this and the Haunted Mansion were the two rides that scared me the most on that first trip.

Yep I must say that this was the most scariest ride I've ever been when I was young it was dark so and had scary music so I just ducked my head and covered my ears throughout the whole thing. I'm 14 now and sometimes I have a bad dream about this scary attraction. The witch I swear I don't know what else to say about her but she's just so scary for me thank goodness it's gone. I love the mine train coaster that's much more fun.

Yeah. The original incarnation was genuinely scary. You can still experience much of what the original was like in Japan at Tokyo Disneyland. That one has been modernized and changed too but not to the extent the US ones have.

Actually no it's lights on it's not so scary I don't know why they turn these lights off in the dark rides because the kids and even some adults with sensitivity it will be afraid especially veterans. Next, I would bring a flashlight

scared 4 what.. they lucky i first rode this when i was 3 years old when they had a giant face witch with a blue face and she would flick a flashing light in your face and at the end u got crushed by a giant ring..they later ended up takin out the giant face witch
