If a movie is a REMAKE, artists have the right to do what they want with it. We should appreciate the movie as it is and not focus on the background, race, ethnicity, or political opinions of the actors involved. That's not how a movie should be watched. Besides if this offened anyone, the 1937 movie it still there they can go watch it.

They did change the fight with Ursula part on the little mermaid live action though. Prince Eric was supposed to be the one who will kill Ursula using the Ship but instead they let Ariel do that part. I don’t see something wrong with a prince saving the day in the original. I’m not sure why they have to change that part :(

its not really the same thing here, i mean snow white will juste have more independant trait because she will become the queen of the kingdom after evil queen dead so this is a normal change and we dont know the end yet XD

@@izyra145 i know we don’t know how it’ll end yet but their marketing of the movie is telling otherwise. “She’s not gonna be saved by the prince and she’s not gonna be dreaming of true love…” but in the animated one she is dreaming of true love and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I actually was a fan of the original Grimm fairy tale before I ever saw the movie. I grew up on the original fairy tale books. And I loved the original film when I first saw it

Rachel Zegler is half Polish with a spectacular voice that is much better than the voice of the soprano, Adriana Caselotti, who sang as the the 1937 Snow White. Rachel Zegler rescued Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story by actually singing the part of Maria that she performed in high school. The phoney baloney 1961 West Side Story starring Natalie Wood was a disappointment because they dubbed Marni Nixon's voice over Natalie Wood's lip synching and only paid Marni on a few hundred dollars. When Leonard Bernstein heard how Marni was treated he wrote her a check reflecting the actual value of her work.

@@johnculley5852 I'm not disputing Rachel's acting skills or talents. She did a phenomenal job in West Side Story and was extremely well cast. I'm contesting Disney's choice to cast her in the role of Snow White. The physical description of Snow White is iconic and most people know it by heart: "Lips red as the rose, hair black as ebony, skin white as snow." It doesn't matter how talented Rachel Zegler is. She does not fit the physical description of the character.

I really don’t and please for the love of all that is holy in this world do not ask me to pretend like she has a far superior voice to the soprano who brought Snow White to stunning vocal life because I will not do it I will not do it. But I do agree with you about the description. You’re absolutely right on that not trying to be disrespectful to you, but I do have a different opinion on Rachel and please don’t ask me to change it please.

Adriana Caselotti walked so this little brat could do whatever she’s doing now so don’t you dare sit here and say that she has a better voice than Adriana Caselotti because that’s a bull that is bullet I’ve ever heard it and know she wasn’t perfectly casted Westside you got a lot of Puerto Rican people that were pissed off and rightfully so never mind. @@BennettStudios1 They picked Rachel Zegler because she has white Polish features and has a spectacular singing voice like Halle Bailey who sang and acted the Little Mermaid. Ever since the Marni Nixon debacle many fans of musical movies think that those who sing should have the right to act in any movie where their voice is used. Marnia Nixons' voice was used in several other Hollywood musicals and she never got to appear as an actress which was tragiac and abusive.
