Great video, this movie is a treasure! My favourites were Arabic (both), Brazilian, French 1962, German 1938, Greek, Italian 1938, Japanese & European Portuguese, but everyone did a great job. Just for the people to know, the Greek dub is from the 70's and the translator of these dubbing used to make a more free adaptation of the original text (most for lipsync reasons and to give a native touch too). In this part, the Queen says: "Insolent! I only say this to you; if you fail, you'll die!"

Gosh, I was thinking today about your comment on William’s multi for the final scene! I watched a few scenes of Greek dub of Snow White on Disney+ and I’m so curious to know/understand all script and how they adapted it!! 😆 This line sounds more evil than the original version!

As Disney celebrated its 100th anniversary, guess what? The Danish, Finnish, German, Norwegian, European Portuguese, European Spanish and Swedish versions of the Disney animated movie, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", were not added on Disney+. Now, they were finally there! And guess what else? From the internet archive, I also found the German 1938 and Swedish 1938 versions of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and sent them to my personal iMovie. I have my iPhone and iPad, of course.

In case you might be wondering why the queen in the 1938 Swedish dub says "tig" instead of "tyst" (like the 1982 version) or "tystnad" (which is the more correct Swedish word for "silence"), unlike many of the other languages heard here which mostly use the same word in each and every one of their dubs, is because "tig" is a very old-fashioned Swedish term for "silence" or "be quiet". Swedish happens to be one of those rare languages that evolve unusually fast, which is why both of our dubbed versions sound a bit different from each other, and the main reason as to why we had to redub the movie in 1982 (since the Swedish language in the 1938 dub was considered way out of date for 1982). As a 24-year old Swede myself, though, I can still comprehend a lot of the words from our original dub, so to me, it really doesn't sound all that out of date as people might have stated 40 years ago.

What I find interesting about the film's three French dubs as that they have the same dialogue translations (however the current French dub reuses the lyrics from the French 1962 dub).

I noticed that too. In English it translates to “If you fail, you will be put to death,”

Tutto il doppiaggio italiano del 1938 è magnifico, non solo per la voce della Lattanzi. Purtroppo, ha subito il ridoppiaggio
