If you really want to hear him ound away on the drums check out the track Cross-Collateral by Passport; 13-1/2 minutes of fusion awesomeness.

A very unique record "Defroster" is. Roye Albrightons guitar work, vocals and Kristian Schultzes keyboards made that record sound still warm despite the perfect modern drumming.

Heh... If i had to judge by album cover alone, this would've been right after Fireballet's "Two Too" and The Mothers'... Actually, their entire discography. Lol but the aforementioned is worth a listen, and so is this. 😏

first track belongs on a 70's lite rock lp. then i saw nectar's roy albrighton and was stunned.also passport's curt cress. since the first track the album got more interesting. a bit jazzy/prog-ish. basically new age version of nektar. a supergroup lineup but definitely not supergroup material musically. sounds like the label was looking for a middle of the road radio hit and failed. the jazzy instrumentals are the highlights with the fusion influenced title track standing out.

Pretty disappointed on first listen given the pedigree of the members. Everyone sounds neutered compared to to their earlier incarnations.

Love the music! BUT... The time stamps don't seem to match up to the breaks between songs. The breaks between songs seems to match up with ProgArchives song lengths which are different from the song lengths listed on Discogs which are apparently the ones used for this video. And by the song lengths, according to the breaks between songs on this video, which appear to match up with PA's listing, the last song, Shade, does not appear to be on this video. Can this apparent contradiction be explained to this poor, senile old pervert, please?
