It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book kzbin.infoUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.

It’s great that you were willing to recognize you were wrong. Today most people are incapable or unwilling to do so. Having said that, there is nothing wrong with making assumptions based on first impressions. That’s why first impressions are important. What is wrong is to stick with those preconceived opinions if they turn out to be wrong.

I like how it's so open & uncluttered. It's the opposite of living in a van, yet is still mobile. It has more floor space than most RVs. I'd love the simplicity of living in a van, but my claustrophobia says no, no, NO! A Diesel engine swap is a great idea. Expensive, but would be so much more reliable & economical than his current engine. Cool video.

I agree…get a shell and live in it to see what you need. We have a 6x10 CTC and the metal specialist who made our transforming bed gave us good advice not to build underneath to see if we’d need drawers/separators. Family of 4, what we bring changes on where we go. Can fit boats & poles, paddles on bed and underneath the whole length.👌

Sweet little pad but he needs a portable toilet and at least a two burner portable stove, he's probably living on McDonald's food? Also an outside shower for when he's in a warmer climate, easy to hook up actually. That place has more potential, the tiny stove is very cool, I would have a bigger sink and at least some kind of hand faucet pump rigged up that you have to pump every now and then, the portable toilet could be kept on the porch with baboon blind curtains that go up and down for privacy in the summer when you are somewhere isolated from everything and everyone, seems like he doesn't need much.

Anyone disliking this has to be a hater who can't build. This truck is "date quality", I'd be proud to bring a lady by. A nice girl will love the creative/nostalgia, with modern upgrades. I would pull your motor and rebuild everything to get reliable. Wayne's Engine Rebuilders, Riverside Ca. can handle that old engine. Our local snow SUCKS for you to make a trip, but for good rebuilt mechanicals So Cal is where vintage and custom shops live. A smart installation would include Shitter & Shower. There's nothing like fighting the cold to pinch one out-doors. Your giblets may get frozen. my favorite part of your rig is the headspace, 2nd are the hanging boots.

Interesting, we saw you had toilet paper but we didn't see a toilet. Great build for a cool dude. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

Too cool. I have been watching Craigslist for a while now and would like to build one of these sometime. I have serious physical complications but where there is a will there is a way. Thanks Austin Smith and Dylan Magaster for this great truck/home video. Awesome stuff.
