I've been testing Chenxing a fair bit in multiplayer and comparing her to my other main dps. My characters are all lvl 60, with 4 Neuronics unlocked, and lvl 60 weapons. I'm currently using: M1 T2 Chenxing - Ethereal Cloud M2 T2 Fenny - Coronet M3 T2 Lyfe - Wild Hunt Chenxing is extremely good at clearing multiple mobs. You tag all the enemies, then hide around the corner and just blast one of them. All the rest then take a huge amount of damage because they are all linked together. Unfortunately she's not as great at killing bosses. Her skill does add some additional damage, but other than that, you're just mainly relying on her rifle. However her rifle is *really* good. It gives electrical damage + crit damage, plus gives an attack buff when you reach 50 stacks. Her 1st Manifestation makes her better against bosses, as it gives you a 15% damage buff when continuously firing. I comfortably out-damaged everyone I was teamed up with (50%+ damage), which is to be expected as I'm a whale. How does she compare to the others? Chenxing significantly outdamages Fenny - Coronet. Fenny can do a ton of damage with each shotgun blast, but she can only fire 7 times before having to reload. Her dps is always going to be hard-capped because of the long reload times. Chenxing can do continuous aoe damage to the entire pack of mobs with her skill, and Fenny just can't compete with that much aoe damage. Lyfe -Wild Hunt is still the dps queen. As I've said in previous comments, when you start getting manifestations for Lyfe, she becomes an OP beast. My Lyfe is now M3, which means her skill usually has 100% uptime against each mob pack. I was fortunate to team up with a lvl 63 whale who was using Chenxing with her signature weapon, along with a lvl 65 Fenny - coronet. I still managed to do 54% of the overall damage using my lvl 61 Lyfe, she's just that good. So in summary: Chenxing is better than Fenny, but not quite as effective as Lyfe. Is she worth getting? She's a solid dps character that can effortlessly crush packs of mobs, which you fight most of the time. I don't have any regrets about pulling for her.

Sure, she's not OP by any mean but remember that this game is waifu collector game, if even the worst character can clear the game easily, then Chenxing is definitely good. Also waifu > meta.

+ Since the game is designed for mobile devices, on the computer, even a weak character can wipe out everything due to ballistic shooting. In addition, she is an aoe cleaner, it will not be superfluous for sure.

I’m definitely skipping her. Acacia is more than good enough. I have her Fenny, Yao and Marian, so don’t really need any other unit. 5 star frita aka frita (hush) can stun enemies for 3 seconds, apply burn & CC. SO in terms of the stunning she's already power creeped

Between her and Acacia Kaguya, Acacia Kaguya was definitely the must pull unit of the two. I do like 5* Chenxing aesthetically but she offers nothing for my account. So I actually agree with a lot of your points. Still a very solid aoe dps who offers some distance as opposed to Fenny Coronet who has to be more close up to the enemy, so she's an alternative for people who would rather be further away from the enemy as opposed to close up.

This should be the mindset of F2P to mid spender. If it won't offer anything in your account don't spend digicash. Basically for now we just need two good working teams. DPS, subdps/shredder, and a healer for each team.

Just merely checking the character when she came out. The weapon she comes with can indeed not be her signature weapon. The only thing that synergizes well with her kit is the electric weapon element part :S. Like any electric element character like your starter 4* lyfe can make use of this weapon. Also as you mentioned her skill only works on multi target(s) enemies. Wich is not all the bosses, while her dominant zone is supposed to be anti boss (heavy HP enemies). But it doesnt really last long for the average team to make use of. So seeing as she has no particular effective role that doesnt already exist. Besides having the benefit of having the assault rifle as her weapon (wich i'm using to fill my support character roles atm). And the outfit doesnt make sence (both the default or the free skin one). And i dont think she will get a good/cool skin anywhere in the near future. my opinion is I already have lyfe and 5* fritia, so i'm skipping Chenxing. Also i have 4* chenxing wich has felt just as cool to use as her :)

Pretty much the meme: we already have chenxing at home (4*). And since this game is recycling 4* characters too 5* characters, i rather keep my pulls ready for something that's not ANOTHER (main?) dps.

I would say Gold Chenxing is T1 max, potentially T2 without an electric weapon. Good for Multi-Part Boss DPS/CC Missed acacia banner, though I already have gold Yao, Lyfe and Fenny in earlier pulls and chapter rewards.

I got fenny and her 5star weapon, yao with 5star weapon, and chenxing with her 5star weapon. But i think chenxing is better than fenny. Few reasons, chenxing is clearing mobs regardless of range. Let it be close combat or long range, she hits AOE, plus she reloads fast. Fenny on the other hand is strong if her ammo is full. Once she starts reloading, her dps slows down as compared to chenxing which is far more consistent plus she needs to be on closer range to maximize her damage. You can’t go close when enemies are strong enough to kill you in few seconds. If opponent keeps on moving then chenxing is also easier to use. Add their burst damage, then chenxing will win this. Chenxing’s downside is breaking shields. Yao on the other hand beats them both if you are playing in PC with good aiming skills. But as far as ease of use and power, chenxing has a good balance of it.

Coronet is even amazing using 4* elec shotgun. That's one of char but not for everyone. Siris will be her best friend.

Chenxing case here is she is actually super good against enemy that has many weakpoint like Hela or another Titan type bosses, but 50% of her poetential locked behind her signature weapon since that's what's make her superb, *4 universal weapon just won't do Ngl she's pretty useless if you don't get ger sign weapon

Few other things I wanna say: She isn't a bad unit just not as good as some of the units we have. I can see her being powercreed tho. Also I would say just use her for her support skill and u don't need her 5 star weapon for that. Only summon for her weapon if u want to main her as your dps unit😊

For a 1 team comp. My plan was to have her main DPS, and rotate Fenny into support (her 30% firerate buff) and bring fenny out for burst damage. Two rotating DPS. And the 3rd slot situational support (heal or shield). Saying shes not worth it hurts a little, but ah well. Main reason I love her design so I want to use her. Otherwise two team comps, Fenny is DPS team 1, Chenxing is dps Team 2.

I kinda get shes the worst of the 5 stars, I have her with Horn of Orca (even if shes considered worst of the 5 stars, still does decent damage). Idk.. my wildhunt is dominating coops 90% of the time with m1. But since chenxing release, i only get 40% at most. Those chnxings were probably whale and i got outdps 5 times in a row is not a coincidence.

thats cos u can hit the mobs faster than everyone else and u can mark enemies faster than your coop players. u get your hit done to 8 enemies whiles your coop friends are still running towards the mobs, u get the hit more often that them so therefore your dmg looks like its higher than everyone else
