Great walk, it’s looks mighty cold! Well done for getting out there though 😊

Hi my new friend. Love the adventure in the rain, snow and weather. Absolutely beautiful views. Enjoyed it all. I did a rain/snow hike last spring at Yosemite park that you may enjoy. Not as rugged as yours though. All the best. Liked and subscribed.

Yeah it was tbh, the storm was forecast the week before, but turned out to be not too bad, despite the soaking we got!

Woah gorgeous views despite the storm! What camera are you using in rain?

Using GoPro Hero 9 for all my vids atm. Lucky it's waterproof eh 😆

Hi , it’s looks like you went up Y Garn not Glyder Fawr.
@NicksTravelAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the previous time we hiked up that route via Y Garn then went up to the summit of Glyder Fawr from there. I guess I should title it based on where we got to rather than our aim 😆

Seriously under equipped it looks to me. You should not have been there. And a dangerous example to others who may be tempted to try the same!

Hi Peter, thanks for the comment. We are experienced hikers who knew the area, and were aware of the forecast and actual conditions and our limitations. We hiked up a sheltered incline and we were aware we would likely need crampons and ice axe to progress further so turned back. My friend wearing the tracksuit bottoms does make us look more unprepared than we were though I'll admit (although he had thermals and waterproofs on below the joggers, I don't know why he went for that combo).

@@NicksTravelAdventures So if you knew of the conditions and forecast, why on earth did you not take crampons and ice axes then? Experienced? I think you made a dangerous video which might encourage others to go out in those conditions similarly dressed and equipped. Not good at all! (Experienced hiker).
