Snowdonia Secret Bomb Store | Hidden Gems | Eryri National Park | North Wales | Abandoned | Urban

On the opposite side of the road to Dinorwic quarry lies this abandoned bomb shelter. The first time I visited here I was so surprised at how big the place is and that you can access so much of it. It is such a cool place to explore but as I say in the video I wouldn't recommend visiting on your own. The only reason I say this is because I don't feel you can explore it properly, well if you're anything like me anyway. I had nerves and a feeling of uneasiness while I was in there this time and as scary at it was with my friends on last visit, we had each other so I got to see so much more. You can easily spend a couple of hours here, but it's definitely not for everyone. Please be careful if you do visit and let someone know where you are if you are going solo.

You were absolutely right Char 👍🏻If it doesn't feel good, then don't do it. This instinct is very important. I know your pictures and videos and there you were always very brave. But it takes just as much courage to say "no" in such a place in order not to go in. It was nice that you were there and had great memories. The bunker will stand for a long time and if you come back, then maybe again with friends 😊 Thanks for the video 🤗

Yes well I went in so far to see where it opens up into the next rooms, not that you could see a lot on the video .. but yes the feeling was not great, so I left. 😁 So right about taking courage to say no, but you’ve got to be able to, to stay safe and to be able to do these things.. Totally get the vulnerability feeling. Im always hiking and wildcamping alone and theres some days where im just not feeling it and normally ill keep them days fairly tame. you have to listen to your guts when your on your tod. Cheers for sharing Char 👍🏻 ❤

Many decades ago, I explored WWII German gun implacements on the west and north African coast. Some went four stories deep and were, to say the least, quite spooky. Apparently there were few explorers in the era because there were zero signs of vandalism or graffitti. Be safe, hope there were several friends with you off screen. Played it three times, somehow still missed the swimming!
