This is a semi-original fanmade boss battle track for Spamton Neo in Deltarune Chapter 2, except it is a take on the SnowGrave/Weird/Genocide route or whatever you call it. The original game is by Toby Fox, creator of Undertale, who recently released a new chapter for the game. Hope you enjoy!

In the Weird/Genocide route, remember how Spamton Neo's battle abruptly cuts/ends just when you call Noelle?
Well, my friend TruDev gave me an idea one afternoon - what if that fight continued?
This track is a fan-made continuation of the battle, where Noelle half-freezes Spamton Neo with the SnowGrave spell. This is Spamton's last struggle.
I used various leitmotifs as well as some original sections in the track. Guess where?
You should definitely hear elements of Big Shot, Noelle's theme, or The World Revolving at least right?
Also, i'd be stoked to see an actual fight in the game based on this. Or anything in a similar context, for that matter.

I love spamton because even though jevil is crazy, spamton is *insane* his dialogue is a lot stranger and often makes little sense in comparison. He seems to actually somewhat scare kris themselves and has short moments where he recalls someone he knew before and asks kris for help. He also calls himself something along the lines of "the help stop it burns guy"

man actually CAN survive a snowgrave hit in his fights (not including second phase in weird route), he has over 1000 health (About 8000 to be exact) so he can survive around 7 - 8 snowgrave hits in his fight

I honestly like how it's just a cool and epic battle theme in the Pacifist, but it just hits different in the Snowgrave route despite being the same music, it really feels like Spamton is the hero of the Dark World.

What if at this point in the hypothetical fight, Spamton’s attacks start dealing damage split across your health and your tp. The only way to end the fight would be to cast snowgrave a second time, so you’d essentially have to no hit the whole fight. That sounds like an actual nightmare to try and beat but maybe it’d be cool.

I like the idea that the ice makes him extremely fragile and brittle, but makes his damage a lot higher, so it's just a race to deal as much damage as possible while Spamton desperately throw everything he has at you to try and stay alive.

I would love to see how fight would carry out in concept. That said, I do think it would have to be done by messing with the gameplay mechanics, since as is, it would be an odd fight.. As is, on one hand, Noelle would probably hurt Spamton Neo a lot, since he has 4.8k HP, and Snowgrave does well over 1k, even close to 2k. Iceshock would probably be a bit better pacing wise, since that normally does around 400 HP, but that would also be higher given the Thorn Ring. On the other hand, since Noelle's health drains due to the Thorn Ring, and Spamton probably not going to hesitate on attacking her, she'd also be likely to be knocked out a lot.

Maybe just a stamina run with kris having courage and all and then noelle charging snowgrave the entire time. You need to minimize as much dmg as possible because if you go down theres nothing to heal or defend noelle from getting stomped. Plus maybe act as the meat shield untill then. An ingame explanation for this could be that snowgrave in general wasnt enough to take down spamton NEO but kris's will changes (like in the king boss fight) allowing him to shine his soul on the beast that is noelle and letting them channel a better snowgrave (like rude buster into red buster)

i could easily see this as a continuation of the snowgrave battle because before Noelle attacked, spamton's defence rose high enough to make his HP infinite, his attacks would probably be stronger but also more repetitive because his body was semi-paralyzed because of the ice blocking his movements but that also means that the ice would hold him in place if his strings were cut meaning he would be more powerful because he could finally utilize his free will and physical strength. what do you think of this?

Anyway, the ice from SnowGrave/Iceshock might not have fully frozen all of the inside of Spamton's NEO... whatever it is, (Is his NEO body just some sort of mech or suit of armor that he only pilots or does it actually become a part of him?! I NEED ANSWERS, GODDAMMIT), and because of this, it made some of the Pipis, making some of them equivalent to, well... popsicles! *gasp* There could even be partially frozen "RawPipis" that do a set amount of damage over time, similar to the ThornRing or the KR from the Sans fight in Undertale! ...Oh yeah, the rest of the Pipis would actually be frozen, though.

Ok, but here me out: What if there was an Alternative Snowgrave timeline where it went just like Snowgrave until you tell Noelle to use Snowgrave in which case instead of saying "Watch what happens when I use a spell I don't know" she instead refuses, and says about having doubted Kris's actions multiple times and now she's decided what Kris is doing is wrong, and so runs away, dragging Berdley with her. By the time you get to Queen Boss 1 arena, Queen, Berdley, and Noelle are all waiting for you. Noelle immediately freezes a wall between Kris and the others - Kris is now solo, and now you have to battle all 3 of them, with their own equivalent spells and whatnot being attacks against you. Queen looks disappointed, and also expresses grave concern for Noelle and Berdley after what Noelle told Queen had happened to everyone, deciding to make a truce between the three of them to stop what they perceive to be the threat: Kris, once and for all. Once you've got one down to low health, Queen takes the final hit for them, and now she's greatly weakened and can't fight. Then, suddenly, Spamton NEO appears, commenting about how he heard a whole ruckus from Queen about you wanting to seal the fountain, and decides to fight alongside Noelle and Berdley, deeming the Queen too weak to fight and pushing her out of harm's way. Phase 2 begins. Now you have to defeat Noelle and Berdley, then Spamton himself. It won't be easy, but somehow you'll find a way to break through his defenses, if not even convince Noelle to finish him off somehow with YOUr voice.

One concept I always had for SG Spamton is if at the very end when snowgrave is cast, instead of freezing his body begins to explode, and right nefore he dies, he quickly snatches Noelle and they both get hit by the explosion, monologing about how you wont be able to pull her strings anymore. Now instead of 1 person who was kind of a jerk being potentially dead or in a coma, you'd have Noelle too. Just to make Snowgrave more twisted and gut punchy.

Is it me or does the theme sound lowkey heroic? Like Spamton is basically this world's last chance so to speak?

Here's my prediction for this "weird route" starting here in chapter 2. We will get side characters like Noelle who aren't main characters like Susie and Ralsei and find ways to mentally manipulate them into becoming our mind slaves who are massively powerful and kill on command. Over the chapters we will build them up. But Kris won't take kindly to this. Eventually, it will come to a head where Kris gets rid of us for good, leaving us without a body. That's where the vessel we made in chapter one comes in. The thrash machine from Chapter 1 not only came back, but also played a big part in the story. The ultimate payoff for creating that body in the beginning would be exactly this. It would become a battle of us and our powerful living weapons against Kris, Susie, and Ralsei. But our team would be extremely powerful, they would demolish Kris and crew right? So here's where my theory branches into two options. One fits more into the story we're already being told now, and the other links back into UT. I'll start with the former because it has more to go on. Perhaps the Titans Ralsei mentions get awakened for some reason, they'd obviously be strong enough to destroy the world. You'd need a supremely powerful force to stop them. A force we have been training over the course of 6 chapters perhaps? Ending lives with the one goal: get stronger. Here's my other (also my favorite option) Kris isn't just being puppetted around by us, but Chara too. It's highly implied that we, and the narrator are directly from UT. The narrator was Chara of course. Once Kris rejects us finally, Chara assumes full control over Kris, continuing to punish us for doing the Genocide route back in UT, trying to hurt people, whatever you think they want. Of course Chara would still be powerful from our experience back then. If we say... wanted to shake an annoying child from our adventures, we'd probably need powerful help to do so right? Continuing our ever growing lust for power that Chara knows us for. The final battle is to fight back against the entity that hits us hard enough to erase the world. The only one keeping us in check ultimately. Keeping us from happy endings. Halting our killing sprees. Holding back our determination. [!?!?!!] Us over right at the good part like a [Gameshow host]. And our living weapons will help us shake this influence for good.

The vessel fight is a theory I hold as well. The idea that you can corrupt various individuals is frightening. I feel like next chapter you would corrupt Toriel. Maybe by forcing her to believe that the only way to protect you would be to kill the enemies. Make her believe that if she didn’t kill them on sight they would kill Kris. Kill or Be Killed.

I think of this idea/concept as very cool and made my own story about it. Got some ideas from the other comments as well. Start: You fight spamton neo at the fountain, you call out for noelle's name. He laughs at the fact that you're still trying to use her, but she responds and snowgraves spamton. Since it's the start of the fight, spamton barely gets damaged except for his left-wing which is completely frozen. He's impressed, yet heals back all the hp quickly with the wing fully recovered. He tells kris that he's spent more time becoming used to this body, fully mastering NEO instead of using it as a one off mech suit. He says that he will stop kris from controlling Noelle and free him from his own strings that are making him do this. Phase 1: The battle begins with kris and Noelle against spamton neo. While you try to snowgrave Spamton several times, he brushes it off, telling kris it won't work anymore. But then you got an idea and know how to stop him, you start by cutting off his strings. Spamton notices what you're doing, and starts worrying. Phase 1.5: Spamton's attacks get more chaotic, stronger and intense as the battle progress, trying to stop you from cutting his wires. When he's down to his final wires, he tells you that he knew this would eventually happen, and that he has a plan for everything. He was stalling for backup. Suddenly, he quickly blast kris in the middle of his speech, catching kris and Noelle off guard and knocking kris out. He tells Noelle that kris can't control her anymore and that she's free. The soul then tells her to proceed. Phase 2: Noelle cut the wire for, presumably, the last time at spamton's last wires. Suddenly, an acid wall blocks it and queen steps in, telling Noelle to stop. Queen has seen what Noelle has done to the people of cyber world and team up with spamton neo to stop Noelle. Queen proceeds to get into her giant mech while spamton neo heals back his hp, regaining most of his wires. This is it, the final battle. The battle is hard, with spamtons and queens attacks combining. Noelle starts to do snowgrave again and again, lowering both of their hp, while freezing both of them slowly. Soon, queens giant mech is broken and frozen while spamton neo has very low hp and 1 wire. Spamton congratulates Noelle for her hard work, but says that it ends now. He proceeds to charge up a blast when the soul suddenly used a big shot on his blaster, blowing him up. End: Spamton, before the neo suit shuts off and returning to his old body, says that the soul, YOU, was the one controlling kris and noelle. He figured it out, it wasn't kris's soul, it was the puppeteer. He tells the you that you will soon find itself like him, in a dumpster with no friends. Neo proceeds to shut off and fall down, along with Queens mech. Susie and ralsei then appears and they healed kris, asking about all the explosions they were hearing in the distance.(they don't see neo and queen mech because it fell down) Kris doesn't respond, and starts to seal to fountain.

i doubt a lot of this would happen because remember, spamton neo doesn’t fight you at the fountain because of you controlling noelle or to save the cyber world or anything, it’s because you’ll seal the fountain and destroy all the work he did to become big again
