Yea the cost of stuff is a joke anymore. If your not handy you're screwed. My dealer wanted $500 to change out a new track I bought for my wife's older 2005 polaris xc 500 sp. I ended up doing it myself. Took all day but I saved a bunch. Between the cost of buying a newer sled and what the dealers want for basic maintenance is disgusting. It's almost too damn expensive anymore to even take 4-5 trips a year with my old lady up to michigan. Thank God gas is somewhat cheap still at $2.30.
