If you’re going to do a lot of trail riding I HIGHLY recommend getting some ice scratchers. They’ll solve your overheating problems on the hardpack and they’ll extend the life of your sliders. Cheers.
@jayboutkan31324 жыл бұрын
Henry H. I’ve got scratchers and they don’t solve problems on glare ice. Especially driving big sleds
@henryh.4894 жыл бұрын
Jay Boutkan Yeah nothing you can really do about glare ice but stay home haha. Or maybe run some lubrication fluid like ice oval racers. Not sure how they keep those cool actually.
@packbadge4 жыл бұрын
@@jayboutkan3132 I have studded track and it actually rips up enough of the ice to keep my sled cool enough most of the time on glare ice here in the late season in Northern Wisconsin.
@JJ-kz7sm3 жыл бұрын
Tunnel scratcher work better for hard pack and ice than cable scratchers. I agree that scratchers and studs are needed in this situation. Haven't experienced riding long distance on glare ice, seems dangerous. On hardpack I have solved my overheating issue with cable scratchers. Also I have double the life of my slides
