So like I said recently, I finally bought snowrunner for my birthday. The satisfaction you feel from spending a whole hour pulling a truck out of the mud is genuily addicting. Currently busy trying to salvage the royal BM17 as I really need an upgrade from the GMC and the fleetsstar (if Im correct?) won't cut it. And no, I'm not gonna recover it and call it a day. I want to do it properly and work for my progression instead of pressing a button to do the work for me. I believe that's what the core is of snowrunner

It would be a good idea to get the white western star from the smithville dam map too such a good truck helped me through a lot

I use the white Western star religiously. It is better then the two freightliners you unlock later and mostly better then everything else in it's cheap price range. If you don't have it unlocked then I recommend getting the Pacific p12. It seems like it would suck but that beast can mow down everything.

To play this map with dev tools like in playground mode: 1) unsubscribe if you sub'd (I found the numbered folder and deleted it along with the entry in a couple files, don't know if this was necessary) 2) download .zip file and extract into .pak file 3) place .pak file into MyGames>SnowRunnerBeta>Media>Mods folder (you'll need to create a Mods folder if there isn't one already, capital M) 4) New Game>Custom Scenarios, that level should appear as an option (i had to remove another map, so that this was the only one in the Mods folder. Apparently SnowRunner doesn't like there being more than one map in the Mods folder, or maybe I did something wrong, this is how I got it to work for me.) 5) Enjoy! So much nicer having dev tools to spawn other vehicles and repair.

Yeah that Khan slides everywere. Like in reality those tires dont do that shit. Great game. My all time fav vehicle now is the duce in a half

I know exactly why the Kahn feels like that. It's a combination of the horsepower and it always has diff enabled. The speed and because of the tires spinning at the same speed makes it slip.

The international loadstar is my personal favourite non modded vehicle for crawling, it’s rock traction is just so good

The Khan definitely is all over the place. The only place it really ain't throwing itself all over the road is deep mud. I don't really like driving it, even though it's one of the better scout vehicles.

The Khan feels like that probably because the only tires you can fit on it, and they are almost identical only with different tread patterns.

Uaz feels like it is on ice because the tires have a lot of air in them they are amphibious tires. But sadly the uaz doesn't float on water

Yup. On PS4 Pro here, and the Khan is really frustrating to drive. I can leave the wheel straight and it will dart all over the place. Other vehicles with the same tires do not behave the same.

Not a single vehicle in the game has the same exact tires so I highly doubt this and the only vehicle that comes close has two more tires

I always felt like the Kahn wanted to twist itself any way but straight. Maybe those huge tires? Kinda like my Suzuki Sidekick with big tires; felt like the tires were steering the vehicle and not the other way around.

A lot of people have told me that they honestly believe console mods will not come out for console but I don’t think the devs would have advertised consoles mods if that was the case and phase 1 on console hasn’t even released yet so I still have high hopes for console mods 👍

not sure if it irritates anyone else, but i just hate the collision hitbox on the terrain most of the times, on mid and dirt its fine, but on rocks it feels like your truck is floating and it just ruins the immersion for me, dont know if its just me but i find it horrible tbh

Tc, I assume that traction on rocks is affected by how good your tires are on roads and the Kahn tires are horrible

No if you take the Kahn and any other truck scout but the yar to the creek by the fuel station on the first map and try to climb up the creek to the paved road the Kahn does it so easily and other vehicles need to use a winch
