В какой параллельной реальности Урал отказался от капотников? Лицензионная ивековская кабина, старая как говно мамонта, устанавливается очень ограниченно, спрос на нее на гражданке околонулевой. Та же армия его если и закупает, то только для инженерных частей, в качестве носителя понтонных мостов. В любой армии капотник дает сидящим в кабине шанс на выживание при подрыве мины или фугаса под передним колесом. Шишига не в счет - она изначально предназначалась для ВДВ, где во главу угла ставят вес, позволяющий десантирование с самолета (даже кабина в опытных образцах была с тентованным верхом для снижения массы). Старые КамАЗы (а-ля 5320) тоже не в счет - они не для переднего края предназначены были, но бывало что использовались так от безысходности. Новые КамАЗы - ну так там чистый распил, с забиванием на жизни солдат. Капотник в армии был, есть и будет всегда, и Урал, как основной поставщик среднетоннажной грузовой техники в армию, всегда будет выпускать их.

Sry 4 my eng. Some info about "p8wd geolkom" Its handmade "Frankenstain" not serial, single. It have cabin from "paz-3205" russian bus. Wheel base from "gaz-66* called" shishiga", some parts from tracktors "dt-25", wheels from "T-150", engine from "Isuzu" and transmission from "Gaz-3308 Sadko".

One thing that bothers me about this game is the increased distance between the front and rear axles, I just don't understand why they did that, they could easily have maintained the original distance with the current chassi length. On most of the trucks it just looks ridiculus, even more so on the western trucks.

Having an amphibious vehicle would defeat the whole game of being challenging because the environment is supposed to be difficult to navigate and the rivers are supposed to be hard to get through , you have to find ways around the maps and look for areas where your bigger trucks won't get stuck or swamped by water , if the scout can get through the rivers then the trucks will be able to.

Damn, the Kamaz 6560M is a lot sexier than the in game version. In my opinion while the look similar, they have very different vibe, the real version screams military and gives off a totally different vibe than the in game one. Also the Kraz and Ural copies, (Tayga and Voron AE) are very different imo, the real life look a lot better, more beefy, they are more different than the copies of the other non licensed vehicles.

TERRIBLE changes. Some models look near the same, but MOST look terrible. They look like Americanized wehicles. I cant stand making square lights instead of rounds etc. Pathetic. How about a ZIKZ, comrade? This is the most cranberry soviet-like brand name in the mass pop culture, that i know. ЗиКЗ supposedly means "Завод имени Красного Знамени" or "Plant named of Red Flag", most like chinese HongQi (Red Flag). The developers made a big mistake, renaming the MAZ to ZIKZ, thereby excluding the introduction of modern MAZ models into the game, which can no longer be called ZIKZ because of the absurdly ridiculous Soviet brandname. This funny brand would be better suited to step 310, anyway the Zil plant has been closed for a long time ago, and did not produce more or less modern trucks, but there are more than enough old Soviet ones. Upd: I fvcking screaming from TUZ brand. This is evil joke about folklore name of GAZ 69 model "Bobik". Bobik - is popular dog name, but Tuzik - is no less popular dog name then Bobik. So during the development of the game, bobik was temporarily renamed to tuzik, and then suddenly it became a full-fledged TUZ brand. Why? What is wrong with dev.crew? What the fvck did you think of calling the popular and still operating car factory a dog's name?

How about an in-game Engine models? IMZ - sounds like YaMZ, most popular powerful heavy duty diesel engine for big soviet trucks: Ural, Maz, Kraz, LTZ, Belaz. LAZ - very strange, but LAZ are really existed soviet machinery plant. This is Львовский Автобусный Завод (Lvov's Bus Plant), that made lots of buses in USSR. Interestingly, the plant did not produce engines, but bought them from in Moscow at the ZIL plant. Well, let's assume that the prototype of the LAZ engines are the ZIL engines, that used in lots of other soviet trucks and buses. KZGT - sounds like MZKT or KZKT, but MZKT mades heavy military trucks with european engines, and KZKT - went bankrupt and closed. KZKT produced analogs of MZKT rigs with some of its modifications, but did not produce engines itself (bought from yaroslavl or chelyabinsk). Kr - does not have an unambiguous prototype, since Kr engines are placed on a bunch of different Soviet scout vehicles, contrary to the real situation. Don71 (Lada 2121) have an original VAZ 1.6l engine. All of Khans (UAZ) have ZMZ/UMZ 2.4l engines. Azov - It's KAMAZ engines, very easy.

Actually, Ural-4320 can have shorter hood. YaMZ-238 - long hood, other engines (like KamAZ-740 or YaMZ-236 or even ZiL-375 from previous model) - short hood. Reason - fire on KamAZ engines plant

Ну ему можно ошибаться, он ведь не из России и даже не из ближнего зарубежья. Видимо счёл, что раз уж warthog - кабан-бородавочник, то и оригинал тоже был "кабанчиком" вепрем. Жаль, что разрабы поленились и не сделали годное имя шишиге, назвав её Актеоном. Кому вообще придет в голову называть это чудо техники именем персонажа греческой мифологии? Ещё больше жаль, что кабан с актеоном в игре вышли полными провалами - неуправляемые, вечно переворачивающиеся, козлящие на всех поверхностях недоноски. Уж шишигу-то можно было сделать адекватной водовозкой или техничкой, а кабанчику дать полноценный кузов-пикап как лоадстару или форду ф750 вместо той уродливо обрезанной шишиговской бочки.

Лучше бы машин было меньше, но они были бы индивидульны. А то мне непонятно зачем нужны пара азовов-братьев, пара колобов-близнецов, тройняшки воронов и зачем в игре зил с мазом.
