My favourite Voron is honestly the Voron D. Good 270L fuel tank, full time AWD and Diff. Good offroad, good on road, not prone to tipping. It's a very underrated truck.

Yeah, I even prefer it over Tayga many times (and I like those weird sounds it makes). Now I've "discovered" Voron AE and it seems more powerful and very capable with raised suspension.

@@Mietas2 Voron AE is a good truck, but it has a small fuel tank and it likes to drink. AE is a good short range truck but overall I still prefer the D myself.

Yeah all the Vorons are solid trucks, I don’t dislike the Voron D, I just like the others a bit more, the D seems to have extra weight in its roof so although it’s not that tippy compared to most trucks, it tips easier than the Voron grad And it also has a slower gearbox, but again I’d happily use it for a mission, it’s a very capable truck 👍🏻

The new update has 2 confirmed trucks and 3 unofficial trucks coming and it also gets a new pull mode for the winch. There are 4 new maps in the Amur region of Russia. It supposed to be harder than imandra so hold onto your butts.

Yeah I just made a vid about some of the details of phase 4, overall it’s a massive update and there’s some good stuff, not sure about the maps but we’ll see lol! Good news is they’re fixing it so you need the dlc to get dlc mods, in other words modders will now be able to mod dlc trucks for us to use, you just need the dlc to get access which is all good 👍🏻! Can’t wait for some modded dlc trucks

Oh trust me I know you like your high range. All I was saying in previous videos is the next time you use underpowered trucks, the P12, Derry 45 or maybe even 31, those type of vehicles, the vehicles that can't handle high anyway. Try the Fine Tune in those trucks. Honestly even with Fine Tune VS Advanced Special, I still think the Fine Tune does a bit better. Like just the other day I used a P12 with long logs towing a Derry 45 with long logs going from Lake Kovd to Imandra. And while it was slow going the trucks actually managed to get there in the Fine Tune. I had to separate them to drive up a hill, they wouldn't go uphill winched together. But still, they actually made it. A P12 and a Derry actually got though Lake Kovd and Imandra. So it's definitely at least worth a try the next time you take those weak trucks out.

@Nickthenob 1 Good luck. In mine experience it's like the Fine Tune has just that little bit more tongue. In the Heavy class it seems to help with the low ranges more then anything. Places the likes of the P12 would just completely give up and wheel gitter before, it may still still struggle a bit with the Fine Tune but it's like it gives just that little bit extra that will allow the P12 to crawl it's though. Now for some reason on medium and light trucks the High gear is actually pretty strong on Fine Tune. I've had medium truck wheel spinning in H with the pretty dead stopped and barely moving. The H is slightly quicker with Fine Tune compared to Offroad. If you want speed Highrange is still the way to go, but if you want the full range of gear options then Fine Tune is one to consider as the H seems to overall better compared to Offroad, For some reason H gear isn't as effective on heavy trucks, those still stall H pretty easily. But yea I use Fine Tune on mostly all my trucks now. I won't say everybody experience will be the same, but to me it does feel like there is some benefit to using Fine Tune over Offroad or Advanced Special. The trucks just feel they have that little bit more to them with the Fine Tune. If I had one knock against the Fine Tune I'd say it's a thirsty gearbox. It burns at least as much fuel as the Offroad, if not slightly more. But with the trade off of how trucks have been performing for me, I'll take it.

Yeah the fine tune makes more sense in the weaker trucks, it’s just not all that often that I use them ones lol, but I think they purposely broke the low end torque on every gearbox except the fine tune in an attempt to make it more valuable, so I’m not surprised it’s out performing even the advanced special! It’s a shame too as the advanced special used to feel really nice but it feels like the edge has been taken off now To be honest I’d be more happy to use that fine tune box if there was a version where the gear selection still moved at the same speed, not a fan of that extra slow movement, I know it’s to be more precise but I don’t care lol

@Nickthenob 1 I’ve got a feeling they either broke or nerfed the low end torque on pretty much all the gearboxes when they added that fine tune, so I’m not sure if it’s better, more that the others just got worse is more how it feels, but either way that does make the fine tune a definite contender and worth giving a go to see how you get on 👍🏻! The Kolob 747 used to feel better in the advanced special, but these days it feels a bit gutless?

@@itsmrlonewolf Yea the slow movement to get into low took me a while to get used to, but it's not so bad when you get the hang of it. I will say I used offroad a lot and Low+ never felt like a proper 1st gear. It always felt like 1st restricted to like 75% or something. I do think the Fine Tune gets closer to a proper low gear. But yea, Focus have seem to have done tweaks regardless.

You can do 6 slots with the super Bruce with the sideboard and saddle combo or you can do 8 slots with the twice twinsteer and saddle option. For this run I used the twice twinsteer with the step deck trailer .

Yeah there’s definitely options with the mods but this is my first playthrough which got the most part I’ve tried doing without mods, there’s always the 8 slot trailer too but it drives me mad with how often it gets hooked on hills and well everything lol 👍🏻! I’m sure the twice twin steer nailed this mission with ease!

I’m not all that sure to be honest? Well I think with the fine tune they seem to have broken the auto gears as far as low range torque goes, as if they’re trying to make us rely on the low gears more, but either way I don’t see why I’d want to set a low gear to say 60% when I can set it to 100% lol?

For the mods I suggest you sell the trucks from all of your playthroughs. They take up memory for no dam reason plus I don't think you need several dolphins and several John's etc sitting around essentially doubled due to the multiple playthroughs. Get rid of trucks you don't like after you have reviewed them.

I’m not sure if it’s factoring in the base game trucks in each playthrough, it’s more each mod and apparently some of them use very little RAM, whereas other mods use an insane amount and you can only turn 1 on! The JBE mods and the FOXCRF450RIDER mods are great and use hardly any memory so you can use them all at once and then some, others like the heavy wrecker or some of the newer trailer packs seem to cost a lot of ram and again you can’t add too many, to be fair the heavy wrecker isn’t that bad, that new Unimog is really bad and I can only turn that 1 mod on and then it tells me no more room if I try to turn any others off! I always need to keep some dolphins around lol 👍🏻

Use the big crane and it’s doable, I’ve done it with the logging crane but it’s practically impossible and not worth the effort. Big crane works alright 👍🏻
