Its enjoyable when a brand puts up videos of their racers just as they are, talented, but just human beings.

Was so excited for your run and then you did that straight line down the double drop that nobody else did which blew my mind. Was gutted for you though.

Seriously proud of you man!! You have come sooooo far since I met you years ago. Hyped on this. Great insight. “You wish you could go back in time and do it over.” So true and such a familiar feeling for anyone who competes.

My theory is hangers snap because mechanics straighten them without heating them up
@Ganiscol2 жыл бұрын
I'd be surprised to see a race mechanic straighten anything like that instead of just replacing it.
@butchgreene2 жыл бұрын
@@Ganiscol For practice they will. For race run, all new hanger.
@janeblogs3242 жыл бұрын
@@Ganiscol that's not how it works. The frames bend, are built out of tolerance. 1 degree out can make shifting 1or 2 gears impossible

Considering that Aaron on a downhill race without a chain, and there is very little pedaling on almost all of these tracks, I cannot understand why people are still running a traditional chain and derailer set up. Those things go wrong all the time, especially in muddy environments.
@butchgreene2 жыл бұрын
Because all of the other systems designed so far have a massive amount of added drag and/or weight. No other system has been created that is as easy yet. Gearboxes have tremendous drag. The latest idea the kid has of tucking the derailleur inside the swingarm is being tested now. But it all comes down to drag and weight.
