Snowstorm solo camping | Hot tent buried in snow

It was a day of record heavy snowfall. With over 80cm of snow, it is difficult to walk even with snowshoes on. After setting up the hot tent, I was relieved, but something surprising happened at night.

Need to get you one of those 30 second tents that open up like an umbrella. Be suitable for events and emergencies when trying to get in shelter to warm up and get a fire going as quickly as possible with a stove. The mattress pump is ingenious. You are really lucky that the tent didn't catch fire when it collapsed on the stove. Did you enjoy this experience? Or was it something you did that you can now say you've done? I live in a snowy place, and what you experienced are all of my least favorite parts of winter, 1) being outside, 2) in really deep snow, 3) everything being damp when it warms up, 4) everything becoming super heavy because it's damp, 5) not really able to get warm enough to relax. To each their own. Certainly, you survived this situation, and that's an accomplishment. By the way folks, he's not an inexperienced camper. For those who think this is first time out, he's posted a bunch of videos with the same subject matter, but different equipment.

It's good to get some experience camping in these conditions, so when you have to for a long period of time, during the end times, you will be ready. Just remember to pack a bible of your language, for a practice run and then the real thing.😮 🎉 👍

Utah Jeff …. Here….pretty incredible snow fall …. Only thing I would have done differently is put a tarp with metal adjustable poles above the tent. It would keep it warmer inside the tent.

Anchoring guy ropes into 12" of snow with a 6" peg. Not enough wood to see him through the night.....thankfully the stove went out before the tent collapsed on top of it. If he had enough wood, he could have kept the fire going and the heat would have prevented such deep snow on the roof of the tent. Drinking alcohol in severe cold weather. Sitting in wet clothes. Getting into sleeping bag with damp clothes, sleeping without a hat. What could possibly go wrong!!! 🤔🤔🤔

Imagine a 60 year old women with pets doing this on her own. The Video was awesome and I watch for learning technics. Real people can't afford the expensive equipment and don't have camera crews to drop them off in Posh spots. We live in the real World and can't afford 3k tents
