For some reason, I thought I'd shared a Livingston walk more recently, but it turns out it was back in June. My have the seasons changed, As I've been mentioning, the weather finally turned towards winter and we've gotten some cold and snow. It only make the beauty of this little town change a bit, not diminish. Let's take a virtual walking tour through the new snow from downtown Livingston to the Yellowstone River. I hope you enjoy it. Keep on Steppin' -H

I love the nature walks, IF you're talking.😁 So they get my vote.🌲🌲🌲 However, I have to say....I also enjoy the city walks. It is nice to see the different places and learn along the way. Plus, you're the one that deals with any people or traffic, and I don't have to.👏🏻👏🏻😄😉

Just stumbled on your channel and realized I had been in or by Livingston about 1965 driving from Saskatchewan through Yellowstone to LA. And, the last time I saw the river was at Glendive in about 1988. Greetings from British Columbia!

Hi there, just wanted to say hello all the way from Breda, The Netherlands (4700 miles away) So nice to see these video's! I have placed a treadmill incl. a flatscreen tv at my office for my colleagues to walk on so they (and myself too) get some exercise during the day. I was really enjoying your tour through Livingston. It's so far away, we truly have no clue how things are up there but once i saw the walk, including all the stories about the town i felt i was there for a moment. It's a great exercise and at the same time i get to learn all about that part of the world. Can't wait for my next walk! All the best, Martijn

Hi Henry, can't believe you've got snow already. We stayed just south of Livingston in mid September on vacation from Scotland, weather was in the mid 70's ☀️. Loved Livingston, beautiful wee town 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇲

Thanks Gary, September is a great month to visit. I bet the area was very different back then. I’ve been reading an overview of the history of Scotland by Neil Oliver. It’s very general as it covers several thousand years but definitely inspiration to dig deeper. All the best- H

Such a great place. Like out of a Rockwell painting.. in real life. Lived there for over 5 years , some of the finest people ever in my 60 some years. Met John Mayer and Margot Kidder there. The Lovely Margot was saving dogs scheduled to be euthanized in California.. in fact the coolest dog i have ever known was rescued from Bakersfield CA and i met him in Livingston when a very close friend adopted him. RIP Margot and Keep Livingston spirit alive and well. Truly one of the best places one can ever find themself

Thank you so much for the video! I very very very very very rarely write comments, but if it helps get you to keep making "speech" videos, it's worth it (my last comment under a video was about 5 years ago :) ) It combines two perfect benefits: 1. I love walking videos - I get immersed in that atmosphere 2. I am from Crimea - and at the moment I am learning English, and your very pleasant, "understandable" speech helps me a lot!

Thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful walk! As to nature v. city walks, I tend to watch the U.S. city walks once, and the nature (and outside U.S.) walks several times. I have watched your Devil's Tower and Paradise Valley walks many times - but I do enjoy all of them, from Washington D.C. to Herculaneum. Thank you!!! ( great names on this walk - Sax & Fryer, Fainting Goat - - and say hello to Fluffypants! 🐱)

It's improved, by the look of things, although much of it remains the same. Nice to see a lot of the old businesses are still doing ... business. Dan Bailey's used to be a fly-tying factory back then, employed a great number of nimble-fingered women. The bandshell is still standing, still lots of restaurants and bars, and the rodeo is still out on that island where it's always been. Miss it sometimes down here where the old folks stay. Keep rockin the treks brother :) @@CityWalks
