I have a tip for people with hooded eyelids for this!! Darken your crease! It makes the eyeliner rubbing into it less visible! Hope it helps :p

Absolutely brilliant! As a 14 y/o girl who is getting into the Gothic culture (Thanks to my mother), this has helped me a lot! I have been looking at quite a few tutorials and a lot of them go extreme when the video was meant to be for beginners. But this has helped me a lot considering i'm still 14 and I don't want to go the full way (Yet). Again, thank you so much! Defiantly a new subscriber! Edit: Also! I literally do the exact same makeup routine. Eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner and black lipstick. That’s for everyday at least. Growing up as a baby bat taught me that less is more!

It baffles me how people can do their liquid lipstick so perfectly with just the doefoot applicator! Mine just turns out wobbly and messy, and I struggle to follow my lip shape accurately (often ending up with the corners "too think" instead of pointy like < > and my bottom lip is a real struggle too) so when I use liquid lipstick I start off by using a brush to outline and then fill in the rest directly with the applicator.

Black eyeliner used as eyeshadow can be lightly topped with face/baby powder to make it matte and also used as lipstick with same method.

I wish I had tutorials like this in my baby bat era at 13. I think we all looked pretty ratchet in that stage since we didn't grow up with KZbinrs. I looked a hot mess! Black unbounded shadow EVERYWHERE. Unblended, uneven and looking like a crackhead racoon. This is such a beautiful look without being over the top. As a baby bat I thought i had to pack on as much black as possible. Had to learn the hard way a little goes a long way when it comes to just starting out.

For my Goth make up I took inspiration from alot of the old gothic make up looks which are pretty easy ( for example if u look at some of the cures make up they use black eye shadows abit of eyeliners n red lipsticks etc)

Anastasia has a matte black lipstick in traditional stick form (not liquid) that is FANTASTIC. It’s inky black and stays on without getting super dry like a liquid lipstick, and it doesn’t get crusty when reapplying. The shade is “Midnight”.

Like, I didn't really know exactly what a primer did or that other people also had difficulty with eye pencil (just thought I sucked at it). I don't like spending too much on makeup unless Its really good ( like I'll spend a lot on Kat Von D foundation cause I love it and on liquid lipsticks too cause they're amazing) but I love the way you find amazing quality and cheap eyeliners and powders etc from Superdrug that I'd never think of trying! I'd dismiss them as crap because of how cheap they are but now I'm gonna try that gosh palette and the mua liner 😊😊
