This is very close to how I did my makeup in high school! Brings back a lot of memories. I wasn't allowed to wear black makeup other than eyeliner and mascara, so I wore a lot of deep, dark browns. Very nice rendition!

Natalie Mae thank you! for when i go somewhere formal i still stick with my style but i dont backcomb my hair as much and i wear less black underneath my eyes, still however wearing winged eyeliner and red lipstick. i also usually would dress more feminine for that kind of occasion with black heels and a dress, and keep things more simple with what im wearing :) xx

Oh god...this is how I used to wear my makeup in the late 90's and early 2000's. L'Oreal had an eyeshadow quad - #804 Canyon Stone - that was my go to. I used one color - the darkest brown - and went straight up to the brow bone, and then the lightest color on the brow bone. Black pencil liner on the water line, the lid, and under the eyes and then smear with your finger. And then it was a deep brow, black or deep wine red on the lips. You really brought back memories with this.

I love this tutorial. I have seen some others and so experiments by myself. Now I'd like to go a bit darker than usual. I have a small suggestion for this look, I don't know if this is still 90s then. Maybe putting on some eyeshadow on the lip color or using a matt lipstick could make this look more suitable for the matt eyeshadow eyes. What do you think?
