I have to say, the note at the end about pushing the frame in is something I luckily learned by playing around with it, but it took me ages of thinking I wasn't folding the material up properly. THIS IS A GREAT TIP GUYS!!!

Haha, thanks for the kudos, I had to play around a little bit trying to work out why the zipper wouldn't do up before realising it was jutting out further than it needed to, easy adjustment to make to get the cover to zip up easily. ~ Ben

Ok look when I am wrong I admit it! Your pack up video has a really important part! Don’t roll it up all the way but half and pop the roll on top. I so wish I hade seen the 3 years ago Really show this Again I love the product

Love my Falcon 270 Pro. The only feedback I would give is if you have a wagon make sure they (23Zero) throw in 2 extra poles for extra height at the front and rear where there are no integrated poles. Just helps to level it out on a wagon, but not always needed as it's free standing. The second is the lighting, the amber light is not orange enough, so bugs are still attracted to it. I also had some issues with the middle sagging on the wagon but found that if I fully tighten the front (not just leave both front and back loose and come back to tighten), then the back fully tight I get no sag at all...Sick awning!!

Thanks for the tips. There is never any harm is adding more poles to your setup, it makes for a more reliable structure. Glad you like your awning, it is an awesome looking bit of kit. ~ Ben

...thanks for sharing...is there an option to zip or velcro addttional walls on the outside and inside edge of the awning?
@SnowysOutdoors28 күн бұрын
23Zero have zip on wall attachments in the works, but poles will need to be in use when they're attached Should be on the market by the end of the year ~ Lauren

Is this awning a true free-standing awning? It seems without the poles, the arms drooped a little, and was unstable.
@SnowysOutdoors4 ай бұрын
Given the stability of a freestanding awning also relies on the strength of the way in which it is mounted, 23Zero err on the side of caution and recommend that poles and guy ropes always be used to ensure the stability of your waning and to prevent damage to awning or vehicle. ~ Ben

I'm not seeing the black straps to connect the awning on both ends. Just lots of orange rope keeping the awning secure once up.
@SnowysOutdoors3 ай бұрын
The straps are there, see the video at 2:18 and 2:50. I don't recall any orange rope though. ~ Ben

So the extreme wouldn't work with a 200 series with the lift up door?
@Portyhouse4 ай бұрын
It would work fine. I have it on a wagon and as long as it's forward enough that when you lift the tailgate that it doesn't hit the rear cross bar of the awning you'll be fine. The material can touch the tailgate. I had 23zero check it out after I installed and it's fine, in fact they mention the material is fine to touch the tailgate. The only thing I did is raise the height of the brackets a couple of inches, still touches but is fine.

Is there a Falcon Pro for the drivers side or passenger side only? How far out does it come from the vehicle?
@SnowysOutdoors3 ай бұрын
It;s only available in the Passenger side option at the moment, and it comes about 2 metres out form the vehicle. ~ Ben

Anyone have an idea on how I can get the awning to clear my canopy doors when I open them. They are hitting the door which results in the canopy doors not opening properly. I have it mounted to my rrt saba
@SnowysOutdoors28 күн бұрын
Not much you can do if its mounted to your RTT Maybe grab a strap on some caribeeners as a tether, and limit the opening height on your canopy doors ~ Lauren

@@SnowysOutdoors Thankyou for getting back to me . That’s a shame I was told by the boys at the Sydney 4wd show that I wouldn’t be having any issue regarding that problem before purchasing both the rtt and awning.

Shouldn't have the words freestanding if you highly recommend having the Poles set up all the time
@SnowysOutdoors3 ай бұрын
It's a grey area, there can be a number of variable around how they can be used as freestanding such as the manner in which they are installed and the weather conditions they are used in. I can understand why manufacturers recommend this as there are a lot of warranty claims for awnings that are damaged in instances where common sense hasn't been applied. Everything has it's limits. ~ Ben
