These definitely are cool but what upgrades do you think make it worth going from a pronto 10 to this one? I have a pronto 10 and I think I would miss the wide front awning, external pockets, the low ventilation windows at the back. The small pack size and lighter weight is great but not that important for me. Curious on others opinions

Excellent review and very helpful in assessing this arguable state of the art air tent. The 10 person size would be my pick of the range as the pack size and weight to space ratio is simply outstanding!

Thanks Lauren. Do you think the airflow is still ok with that door closed for flies and mosquitoes etc? Want to get the tent but just wanted to know if it was still airy inside in summer? Thanks s

Ventilation is still as good as or better than most tents. There are large windows on each side, a vent in the front door and mesh ceiling, I think this would be more than comfortable in summer. ~ Ben

I wonder what has been compromised to reduce the weight on this one. Are the poles thinner/not as wide as the ones on previous tents? Is the outer fabric is it lighter/not as heavy duty as previous tents? Cheers

Zempire put significant research into creating a fabric that was lighter whilst maintaining strength and UV resistance. They have also developed their air poles to utilise thinner materials to reduce weight and bulk whilst increasing burst strength from about 15 psi to 30 psi. Furthermore, they have applied a clever yet simplistic design, only including the necessary features with the tent, whilst offering a suite of add-ons to enhance the setup should users wish to do so. These tents feel well made and setup really nicely, they are what I'd buy if I was currently in the market for a new tent. ~ Ben

Seems very light in the tent? (As in not dark like the ever popular Coleman's.) If Zempire were to offer black out, so many more families would buy their tents. I would happily have an extra 30mins setup so the sun didn't wake the kids up.... Speed isn't a need vs kids sleeping an extra hr or two

Nice review, but lets be realistic, Zempire - I don't think anyone's getting ten adults into that tent, at least not comfortable enough to actually sleep.

Theres a universal standard for measuring capacity based on a person in a sleeping bag, from memory is around 65 x 170 cm roughly - and how many of that fits in. Even though we know its not 10 camping mattresses or stretchers, the standard holds in the naming of tents so you're easily able to compare between models and brands. ~ Lauren
