i would buy this if they made it a all in one pop up,

I agree! I have the original oztrail single stretcher tent from Snowys but once you start adding those snap together feed through hoop poles they loose all the simplicity appeal because the weight of these things are enough to cope with alone! Anyway Well done Ben good vid. :)

Good idea but bit wrong when there is no poles with awning
@SnowysOutdoors2 ай бұрын
I guess it keeps the price of the main product down, for those who want them you can pick up awning poles for relatively little money. ~ Ben

Lock and fold the middle of the tent folding to prevent damage to the floor skin frame.

Yeah, you need to be careful with the fabric that goes over the folding section, make sure it is neatly folded between the frame. ~ Ben

Thanks for the video! How would this tent deal with heavy rains and winds?
@SnowysOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
We aren't selling this products any more, ninety85, but going by the feedback we had on this in the past I'd say it is suitable for mild weather. I'd say you'd be ok in the odd downpour, but I wouldn't rely on it to keep you dry for prolonged torrential rain and high winds. ~ Ben

Could you put a queen size blow up mattress in it to even out the sleeping space? So that crossbar isn't in the way?
@SnowysOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
I reckon an airbed would make it a bit tight inside, Mark, and would reduce the door space for access too. Not to say you couldn't do it, provided the air mattress dimensions were within the interior dimensions of the stretcher tent. ~ Ben

Do you have any cottons that are small enough to carry in a backpack
@SnowysOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
I assume you are referring to cots, Daniel? If so, then Helinox make a stretcher called the Cot One that will fit in a pack. It doesn't have the net over the top though, and it's by no means the cheapest sleeping solution you'll find, but the quality is awesome. Check it out here - www.snowys.com.au/cot-one-camp-stretcher. ~ Ben

Looks a bit light weight and a good summer storm in Qld would get through the light fly.

It's not a heavy duty shelter, Mel, but it should keep you dry in all but the worst of conditions. ~ Ben

That ain't even close to being considered the ultimate outdoor tent. The material look dirt cheap and flimsy af. I wouldn't even use that in cold windy condition let alone in the rain. That look more for like the back yard use where there's no wind or heavy rain.

I wouldn't say it was the ultimate shelter for every situation, Ted, but it does suit a wide range of people wanting an all-in-one shelter. ~ Ben

Do you ship to the USA?
@SnowysOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
We don't ship internationally I'm sorry Dom! Not sure if Oztrail have a representative in the USA, but you could try contacting them for a stockist who can get gear to you. www.oztrail.com.au/pages/support ~ Lauren
