But if the nucleotide substitution occurs at the third base (wobble's base) of codon, then there is high probability that both the codons, former codon and codon with point mutation at third base, would code for same amino acid. Moreover many codons are redundant for same amino acid. Then how could be the concept of SNP's incorporated in these cases?
