This was great programming. Love ya Mick for showing respect but not fawning over Mike. You could tell you also genuinely enjoyed talking with him as well. However, Mike had some terrible takes. The game isn’t what it was in 2009. Would be so special for Bama to go on a playoff run and win it all after OU. Also this is just in general but the OU loss is overlooked by everyone. OU is a blue blood program with 4-5 stars. They were pre season #16. They didn’t gel together this year but cmon. Notre Dame lost to NIU!

Schedules not going to change unless they make them or form a Super Conference with the SEC and Big 10. Join them or form your own. Just like the smaller colleges have their own playoffs

Bama isn't the 12th team out, they're the 7th. Only 7 at large bids. We know Bama's ceiling. They defeated 3 currently ranked opponents, one being the SEC Champ. Yes, they lost to the #7 team and 2 bowl eligible opponents. So, what's SMU's ceiling? Two losses to the only currently ranked teams they played: #16 and #17. That doesn't come close to a CFP level team. Indiana is another one. Zero wins against currently ranked opponents. It's crystal clear the CFP Committee rewards generic wins over quality wins (SMU, Indiana, Notre Dame, Texas). Teams should schedule accordingly and schedule cupcakes.

@@davislewisville6171 - I did. Michigan, Wiscy, Ohio St, Notre Dame, Florida St, Okla St... All typically perennially tough P4 programs. Going to have to reschedule those. SEC schedule is tough enough with 4 or 5 ranked opponents. Fans won't like it, but that's what the CFP Committee rewards.
