I am a long time crocheter but a novice knitter and just lately have been wanting to take up knitting but couldn't find any beginner friendly projects to try. I use anything from 80-120cm for a baby sized blanket like this 😀

Hi I have been spending weeks trying to make this and am learning so much!! I do have a question though, is it breathable enough for a baby to have? or is it a blanket that I need to wait to give a baby till they are older

I think that decision is down to the parents of the baby. I would gift a blanket like this for a newborn :)

hey! new knitter here - when you say you cast on 133, is that number including the slip-stitch? should we cast on 132 or 133 after the slip stitch? thanks!

Whichever number I give is the total number to cast on, so yep that would include the slip stitch 🤩
