Not from the 70s. The first Moomin book was released in 1945.

This is the first review I have seen of this game, and I am so happy to see that it appears to be good. It is made by a norwegian developer, and although Moomin is from Finland, it is huge in Scandinavia. I grew up watching Moomin (Mummitrollet in norwegian), I have read the stories to my 6 year old son for years. Now I am really looking forward to playing this game alongside him! The books and series represents good values, and has enough wonder and mystery to be interesting for both my young son, and my 65 year old mother. I can really recommend looking into Moomin if you have kids of your own.

Also big in Japan.

But I have always wondered, how do you read Moon in English with a FGinnish dialect. Because there is no other way to voice them.

Great review! Such a cool story book-esque world full of unique characters and beautifully done animation. Sucks that I didn't get to experience moomins when I was a kid. Apparently Walt Disney tried to buy the rights to moomins multiple times back in the day but the original creator, she wouldn't let it go as she wanted to keep the rights within her family. Good for her! Although that probably was the reason as to why I didn't get to experience it back then. Fun fact, I discovered this world of cozy colorful characters on my analogue pocket after downloading a romset for game boy color. This isn't the first Moomins game ever made! SUNSOFT made a gbc game back in 1999 and there's also a DS game. Super neat. 😊

Is Sigur Ros actually part of the soundtrack or was that for the review?
@hololando64139 ай бұрын
Sigur Rós is the main artist for the soundtrack
@stephencheney98113 ай бұрын
@@hololando6413 I appreciate this. I keep reading that the soundtrack was made "in collaboration" with them. Whatever that means.

The storybook aesthetic makes me want to play Plucky Squire.

No no no, I love Moomin, but don't you diss Frog and Toad. They're equally awesome

Im interested but it looks like a point and click mobile game that should be 5 bucks. Especially since its like 4 hours long. Im sorry but its not worth 20 bucks
