SurfingJakeOwns Trinket swap addon is TrinketMenu (let me know if you need more explanation with keybinds/left-right click setup) and the enemy cooldown addon is OmniBar (part of OmniCC).

Dont rely too much on OmniBar as some cooldowns can be lowered with items/talents and the addon basically uses default cooldowns.

@@casko9626 Hmm, I kinda like a bit of a 'fuller' look when I'm wearing gear and Orc does that better. I think UD casting animations look better than Orc, but Orc looks better with gear on. I HATE the way male Orcs look on their mounts though -- they look way over-sized for the damn horse. But I care less about looks and more about what is best for PVP. I know how good WOTF is since I play a UD Mage, so it would be hard to give it up, but If I already have an edge in those match ups you mention, wouldn't I want to try and increase the chances of winning the harder match ups like Rogue? I dunno what else would be hard for a lock.

Because almost nobody picks class based on min-maxing outside of a very little group of elitists. UD's have cooler animations, RP and are edgier in general, that's why they're the most picked class amongst horde PvPers for all classes save for warriors (for which they simply look more puny).

Shaman doesnt have curse of exhaustion he just has the same movement speed. And devouring frost nova, and frost shock isnt that big of a deal. His ability to constantly keep devouing nova, off himself and then the buffs off the mage while still dpsing is more impressive.

Because he's not very good? He spent the whole duel casting arcane explosion, ran oom while this guy's still at 3/4 health, got a hail Mary raw evocate off and still couldn't finish it without going oom. Cringed hard

He was fishing for the fireblast crit in that last moment, and likely was hoping to kite the fellhunter while waiting for his CoC/Fireblast to come off CD... Sitting there tanking the fellhunter would've ensured his loss.

D.C. Gold I agree with the hard casting part. Obviously with the curse, his cast times were wrecked so he has to use AE a lot. Not sure what that other guy is talking about cuz Xaryu is incredibly good. One of the best mages in Classic PVP in the world right now. Regardless, he only needed another 1 maybe 2 wand hits to finish snutz at the very end there and opted to stop and go for a fireblast (probably, like u said) but I think it was a terrible call on his part. He had it.

@@SeemsLikeSomethingI guarantee he'll do a walk through/breakdown video of that fight soon. But i don't think it was ever as easy as 'just tank the damage and wand 2 win'. At 1:37 ish, Xaryu's just hit Snutz with a Fireblast for about 250 bringing him to 11%.(He has about 5.5k Total Health) You can see what Xaryu's wands are hitting for through that SoulLink in the top left corner, Xar's literally doing 50~ dmg per wand, and Snutz's HPRegen has to be close to that if not higher. I think Xaryu felt safe when his shield was holding, and *did* wand *nearly* to the end, only kiting after frost barrier broke. And tbf, that felhunter got in nearly 400dmg in less than 4 seconds.

D.C. Gold I hear ya. I guess it was still a few more wand hits than I thought but I think after that fire blast, he could’ve had it if he toggled back to wands fast. Snutz hit 4% and xaryu was knocking about 2% per wand hit. Was close but I think he could’ve had it. Of course, hindsight is 20/20 and in the moment it’s gonna be tougher.

For duels yeah, by far. Keep in mind this is also tier 1 gear (the weakest point for warlocks in the vanilla timeline), and with health/spellstones banned. Locks only occupy a flex spot in premade BGs though, with mages being the caster of choice that makes up a lot of the team composition.

shaman class is not for pvp. weakest rngjesus class till 3man arenas. then you will have a limited options but still bad choise overall to everyone. all shamans comps are limited at higher rates. solo duel vs clean same geared opponent is like 80% you will loose. take notes that cdew is overgeared . Snutz too tho

@@aizakku420 you will lose to anyone from my team as a shaman. shaman is weakest class in pvp unless your oponent do a crucial positional mistake or get rngjesus involved. shammy only usefull in battlegrounds for support like cs/ grounding wf but require godlike understanding of what happening around you plus your timing must be perfect too. and alliance paladin is alot better as supporting bgs. you can do everything with shaman but its inferrior in everything. we will pick druid/priest to any shaman anytime. at least in BC you will have elems and BL but bl will be dispelled asap and totem detroyed asap unless you hide it in los(which require time you dont have). so basicly same useless shit :)

The job of a elemental shaman is to burst down the Flagcarrier together with a warrior. thats why you bring both of those classes in a decent bg premate. Ele shamans shit on mages. A whole other story about enhanc. in the end, classic pvp is a lot of rng. Resists play a huge role for every class. Its classic and not tbc. There is no arena. Idk why you talk about a arena enviroment, when its clearly out of context. And you are comparing paladins to shamans. Most of the duels is about evaluating timings, build order and mind games. The trinkets, grenades and rng on crits/resist make things unpredictable as well.

This is pretty geared mage going all in and SL locks this early on still lack damage they get in future phases, 3rd onwards. Mages are surprisingly effective now against Warlocks in general with face rolling all instants.

in some aspects yeah... like why use curse of shadows instead of Curse of tongues vs shadow priest? if he CoT him he doesnt even need to kite, he can just sit and spam drain mana on the priest if he tries to hardcast anything and win every trade.
