Hi Sam. Mate, was more impressive than I thought - even with a trickle of water. She should be going good by Sunday! Fish traps were cool. Ancient survival stuff right there. Cheers mate 🍻

Hey Phil! Yeah bugger that Widowmaker hill, got the name for a reason... That Waterfall is pretty cool - went up there a few years ago, during Covid - you got to like 100M away from the actual falls and it was closed!! Like that was gonna help... Anyway, I snuck in and checked it out anyway :) Those fish traps - simple genius, love it! Lovely viewing as always mate, Wifey & I both enjoyed 👍

Phil, you give us some great videos mate! You rode past another aboriginal site, Mary's Waterhole (no water) a woman's special place. Also, down Bark Hut Creek rd on the left is Beautizone rd 200m? along and on the right is the site of "Wedding Bells" gold mine not much left there now, but it did lend it's name to the State Forest. Happy travels buddy👍👍
@MidCoastAdventures9 ай бұрын
Neil, your knowledge blows me away mate! I wondered what the name "Wedding Bells" was in reference too. It's hard to get my head around early aboriginal life in Australia, but the little snippets of history left here and there at least give off some clues to the endless quest for food, shelter and just survival. Enjoy your night mate 👍

Another great video. There used to be a road called Falls Rd that ran towards the top of the Falls that you could drive a 2 wheel drive down, about 30 years ago. I don't know if any trace of it remains.
@MidCoastAdventures9 ай бұрын
Cheers Chris. Yeah, I spotted one heavily overgrown track that may have got there. Nothing more than on old firetrail at best now.

Greatly enjoy your vids. Your summary of the 300 Rally was interesting especially the lack of power and poor highway performance. Have you considered the Transalp? It’s truly the unicorn of adventure bikes.
@MidCoastAdventures9 ай бұрын
Thanks mate! Ah yeah, definitely thought about a Transalp. Would be a good addition to the Rally I'd say.
