The AI heroes and fixing Ki-Adi Mundi's voice lines have been genuine improvements to the game, but I feel like the only way Aspyr could get the player base back is if they added the exclusive maps from Renegade Squadron since they're playable on the original version with mods.

There was a map that has a bunch of catwalk type things. You could use a grenade to push the hero off the side of the catwalk and they'd get stuck in a closed off area at the bottom. 😂 I wasted so much time as a kid trying to do it.

it's really funny how Aspyr managed to introduce bugs that were never in the original. I have the Switch version and don't regret it too much, but I do prefer playing the original CD-ROM PC version.

i play on switch a few times a week and i can consistently find a lobby with 15-25 players each night. it’s great fun and i really hope a consistent player base can come about with further improvements to the online experience.

All the people claiming that it’s trash and worthless are looking at it as if this release is a AAA remaster. It’s not, it’s a rerelease of a 20 year old game. The single is worth it, lots of fun there.

AI heroes was exclusive to the Xbox release. The non modded PC and PS2 versions didn’t have it. Either way good to have it back, although it should have been in there from the start.

I think the reason the game turned out like this is probably because they use the new online net code and when you redo the net code, you can’t just port over the game and call it a day you need to completely overhaul the experience, and make sure the engine works the same for both.

What we need is all the space battle maps from galactic conquest available for instant action. Also, maybe add the space coruscant from the campaign for instant action as well. It is possible for them to make it work on a modern console. Also, add the feature to replay any campaign missions you have previously completed.

I never played multiplayer in these games, only VS bots, so for me online stability wouldn't matter. Even so, still not worth the money. The original one is still perfectly playable on PC as it is and it doesn't feel aged.

Aspyr should give a loyalty discount on Bounty Hunter to those of us who didn’t refund the Classic Collection. I held out hopes things could be fixed and mods could be added to deliver on the promises of this release. But nobody has wanted to come back after the patches. What’s the point of paying for multiplayer servers when 8 people are playing. Disappointing to say the least

Played it this weekend and really enjoyed my time with it, especially letting the AI teammates playing as heroes, a bit better hit registration (can't really tell the difference lol), and less lag. Just wished it wasn't dead asf on Xbox tho and hopefully maybe suggest people to try it again to see if they like more now or not cuz we really need the player count back up again. I'll, however, still continue to play and host online lobbies on Xbox.

how many people know, that when you walk up to an NPC that's on your team. you can press a direction on the controller (i forget which D-Pad button) and they will follow you around? (max 2) you can have a lil squad of dudes following you, one on either flank, and be like a squad leader. (i dunno how to do it on PC)

I hear somewhere that lag issue happends on ps4 platforms PC it's different. (You can use VPN anyway if you had a disadvantage) An example Multiversus with the multiple regions in crossplay.

They still need to add 4 player split screen. There is no excuse why it's not in the PS5 or Xbox Series S/X versions of the game when the original BF2 on the original Xbox had 4 player split screen.

I just play single player or split screen with my son only bug I had was the audio bug witch was not to bad and in space battles having to deal with a hanger full of ai when I try to attack the inside of the ship. But I play PS4 so I had no other way to play the old battlefront games
