Well, it’s actually super easy to use. You’ll head over in the menu here, click on live start points, and then pick the week that you want to start on. There’s quite a few to pick from, but after you chose, its straight into regular manager mode manager creation. The game then simulates all of the fixtures as they really happened, and thats it, you’re starting from a real life situation. It’s something people have wanted for years, I remember making a wishlist video with it on at least 3 years ago, and it’s probably the only way i’ll ever start saves from this point onwards. To be honest, the only slightly annoying thing is that once you’ve selected “Live Start Points”, you’ll only be able to select your club from any of the leagues listed i mentioned above. There’s no taking over an interesting Dutch or Portugese save midseason just yet, but hopefully that’ll be added for FC26. Even though that’s a shame, why do I still think it is so good for the game? Well, let's have a look at some examples of saves that are now possible! I’ll make an entire video about teams in interesting positions tomorrow, but for right now, let's look at 3 examples. The first, Nottingham Forest, my very own team, are in an inflated position right now. I don’t think a single fan would say we expected to be in the top 3 after 10 games, and most of us would take 10th place if you offered it to us right now. But why not see if you can extend the good start into a great season? Rather than replaying the first 10 games of the season and hoping the AI gets realistic scores, why not start with Forest deservedly above Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.

I was really looking forward to this feauture.. ive been waiting basically since the game came out to do my Feyenoord career mode so that it would be up to date,.. only to now see that the live starting points are not there for the dutch eredivisie,.. once again what a let down by EA,.. how are there womens leagues (that nobody plays) for this feature but not for the Dutch, Portuguese or Belgium league,.. insane to me..

Guys I really need help or confirmation. I’ve tried everything to fix this and still no change. Basically my AI players are just not making any runs!! They have acres of space in front of them and they are literally just standing jogging on the spot. It’s actually insane and just HAS to be a bug. I know how to trigger runs with L1 but this just sends them aimlessly running in a straight line without any actual intelligence behind where they’re going. If ANYONE has a fix for this let me know.I really rely on career mode escapism for my mental health and so far FC25 has been completely unplayable. Have you guys had the same thing or found a solution? Would really appreciate it. Thanks very much

Hey I can help you. Personally i have my own very hard realistic sliders on ultimate difficulty. For your particular runs case If you go to simulation settings and increase Position run frequency user to 75 it should be fine. Keep the other sliders same as you have currently

Is there a fix yet for when the teamsheet locks where you can't change any of the players positions. For me this happened when i transfer players in the settings to other clubs based on transfer rumours as it makes career mode more interesting. Unfortunately this is the first fifa / fc game that i can't do this because of a simple bug.

Great, now fix trophy glitches, code text in comments, getting stuck on subs and penalties section resulting in you having to restart the game + a million more bugs and glitches in that occur in the game. Actually with comments, just fkn get rid of them. It will say "two sides at the top battle it out" when its Norwich in 20th or Southampton in 15th. Can ea actually spend time fixing these actual issues than creating new features

I bought EAFC the other day seeing as this feature released and it was 50% off. I honestly can’t believe how bad the game is. So many bugs it’s crazy for a game that’s been out so long. I can’t see the amount of money when I’m in negotiations for transfers, I can’t back out of team management half the time so have to close the game and restart, and every team I play plays their 3rd choice goalkeeper. Yet the bugs / glitches still ain’t fixed, subs ain’t working and don’t let you get back in game, most trophies are incorrect or invisible, game play is terrible, running dribbling and passing is horrible, can’t even change a haircut for a player or youth academy player, the coaches don’t work properly if you make some slight changes to standard tactics and make them “custom” even when it’s only having a Cam play as a shadowstriker instead of a playmaker and a wingback as an attacking wingback for example, can’t manually change position from Lm to LW for example with X/ square like it used to be gotta change your formation and tactics for that… this game is a joke at this point

It’s a fun way to try different scenarios. I started 2 different manager careers both in MLS, different teams. Got the same players in the first transfer window anyway. I don’t necessarily need to go to season 2, but trying to stave off relegation would be a fun challenge. Wouldn’t be in that position in any other format, so it’s a good feature in my opinion.
