I'm new to this channel after having just discovered it 1 video ago this morning & I am enjoying it. I can't imagine how much it must cost to get up and running on a channel like this. This guy has so much gear with all the lighting, mics etc. Not to mention the time it must take to edit all the cuts together with the voice over. I definitely would not have the patience to do that. So kudos to you and to all tech reviewers who do this. Good luck in the future on the channel. I'll keep watching. EDIT: just spied that flexible screwdriver you use at 4:47. very handy.

I really appreciate this, a thorough understanding and appreciation of the process and requirements to produce these videos. To expand a little on it, the time taken for each video is a fair amount, that's kind of unavoidable. But the cost of creating them like the lighting, camera, etc. gets acquired over time, so it's not as painful as it might seem initially, and the revenue of the channel creates is slowly paying them off. In the future when the channel is a little more self sustaining, upgrades won't be at the cost of my bank balance, but supported by the revenue of the channel. That'll be the golden milestone and one to look forward to (hopefully). Thanks for checking out the channel and sticking around, I really appreciate it!!!

Nice vid! I like how the case looks, and objectively speaking it stands out from the rest. I only wish the top filter rested inside an indent like on the CM MB311L. Surprised it's not more expensive, thought they'd charge a premium for etched glass and zigzaggy mesh. You know what method of attaching panels we haven't seen yet? Drawbars, the type they used to lock castle doors during medieval sieges. You won't need hinges or screws or drill into tempered glass, and you can put shapes and images on it and everything.

@Themis7674 жыл бұрын
I've been looking everywhere for an answer but since this review seems to be elaborate enough , i will ask in hopes of getting an answer. According to CM , the case supports a 360mm rad on top , but I've seen no builds with a top mounted rad and fans on it and i'm inclined to believe that you have to choose between just fans or just a rad (which sounds useless) and that there won't be enough room to pass the CPU cables if you go with a proper 360 solution. Any confirmation?
@James_QB4 жыл бұрын
Yes it support up 2 / (Two) 360mm rads if needed: 1 Front / 1 Top or combine 1 Rad either way with case fans on Front / Top: 3x120mm / 2x140mm

Suggestion for builds: some high TDP stuff. Consider that not everyone runs a 65 Watts R5-3600 with a midrange GPU which is relatively easy to cool. There are lots of people sporting high TDP builds like TR/i7/i9 combined with beefy GPUs like the 3080/3090 which can easily suck 600W+ from the wall. Of that 99% is transformed into heat that ends up in the case and needs to be removed. I feel like that's where the high airflow cases can separate themselves from the 'fashion' cases. Those kind of parts can be pricey, but since it is about the heat output and not the system performance you can probably get away with an AMD space heater CPU (FX?) or older Intel Xeon parts which go relatively cheap.

@AVTechy4 жыл бұрын
The maximum CPU cooler I'd go for is 2mm taller than the clearance of any given case. 2mm tolerance is about what you can get away with, 3mm is pushing it a bit too far. Unless you've seen that cooler on this case I wouldn't buy it.
@kevinsantos50504 жыл бұрын
@@AVTechy That's what I was afraid of, unfortunately, it is not possible for me to see physically this case as I'm not from the US, and the computer store in my country (it is a small country) doesn't seem interested in getting this case for whatever reason. And I haven scouring heaven and earth to see if my CPU cooler could fit even if barely. But it seems this cooler has become quite niche since its price has gone up significantly and I haven't seen anyone fitting this cooler in this case Do you still have the case with you? I do have the case, but it's packed up ready to be sold. glad you happened to review aerocool case, that has some 33cfm fans and still performs better than this. I have a case with 33cfm fans, almost same shape of aero one. Thought of giving it up and going for this case. Hoping of better cooling with better build quality... Guess money is better spent on fans alone. Also good luck on the channel.
I don't think there's a clear better fan there. Different speeds, airflow and noise levels. To understand how they compare you'd need to test them against each other. Both sets of fans are plenty for 99% of people needs IMO, don't fall into the trap of comparing on set if numbers and making a conclusion. Also think how each manufacturer comes to those numbers, it's highly doubtful they're using the same testing methods.

Is heat with the three fans front only good or i need to istal more fans ?
@TTks1244 жыл бұрын
Since you are doing incredibly long and detailed videos and reviews, and you´re not just doing unboxings and call them reviews, im gonna share my experience since you´re most likely to be interested and maybe show it on camera or put it to the test. This is exclusively about air cooling. Depending on the air cooler, the fan or fans on it, might not have sufficient power to draw the needed volume of air from their surroundings to saturate the cooler, or have just about enough. In a case with exceptionally good airflow, like a mesh case, what happens is that you artificially expand the area from where the fans of the cooler move air with the front fans of the case, so the air cooler depending on its size and the heat to dissipate, will experience a very hard drop in scaling or will experience very hard diminishing returns if you will, much before you reach the max rpm on the fans. For example: I have a r5 2600 at 1.41v and 4.2ghz +nh-15+meshify C, with 2x140mm sw3 and 1x120mm sw3 in front of the case. The foam filter in the mesh front panel is removed. At 140w+ there´s no difference between 1 and 2 fans. None at all. Further more, dropping front case fans and cooler fan to 1100rpm, only gets 2ºC wormer, from 72ºC to 74ºC, but drastically reduces noise. Dropping to 800rpm, it gets another 2ºC wormer, from 74 to 76. The conclusion is basically that after 800rpm, the diminishing returns hit very hard, at 140w load and lower. Using tape to simulate a define C, temperatures get a lot worst. 17ºC difference at 800rpm. But that´s not the only change. Now temperatures improvement scales much more with more RPM, getting 5ºC improvement at 1100rpm, from 93ºC to 88ºC and another 3,5ºC at max rpm, from 88ºC to 84/85ºC, so the difference reduces to 12-13ºC. However the more you drop RPM the more increases the difference in temperature. These paterns are present in GN testing charts aswell prnt.sc/uptzq2 I wrote this in 2 of your videos comment sections, to make sure you see it. Not intended for spam. Sorry if it bothers you.

@AVTechy4 жыл бұрын
What's on the compatibility slides are clearance measurements minus anything that comes with the case. If there are already fans in the case and there's enough extra room to add more than you can do that, otherwise you can just leave the included fans in there. I'm not sure why you'd want two rows of fans in the front, but that's completely up to you.

I accidentally bought a 140mm fan that i was going to use as an exhaust fan at the rear. Unfortunately, I am unable to return it. Any thoughts on what i could do as a solution? Could a 140mm to 120mm adapter work?
@owenkendall8914 жыл бұрын
I have an aio that i am going to be mounting to the top and will also have that set to exhaust
@AVTechy4 жыл бұрын
You could use an adapter, but frankly for the cost of selling it and getting a 120mm fan to replace would probably be close to the cost of an adapter. Using an adapter would also restrict the performance of the 140mm fan, so there's not a great benefit to doing so. There's also the possibility you'd get an adapter that will clash with the rear IO or side panel, and then you'll have lost more money. Just sell the 140 and but a new 120, best way to get the best result, and won't cost that much more.
