Been a huge fan of Erasure for decades. Andy Bell's voice is still magical after nearly 40 years together, and Vince Clarke's musicianship is top-notch. "Oh L'Amour", "Stop!", "Drama", "Chains of Love", "The Circus", "Breath of Life", "Blue Savannah Song", "Don't Say You Love Me"... the list goes on and on!

The guy can SING...! One of the best to come out of 80's new wave, dance genre and synth pop. Not to forget, one of the best kiss-off love songs ever. harkening back to those 1960's girl groups singing about lost loves and broken hearts. The only difference here is that this song doesn't take the role of the traditional victim of love, but more as the victor of his love affairs. Leaving them in tears. 👍👍

This is one of their best songs ever! Remember that Vince Clarke was in Depeche Mode on their first album "Speak and Spell." One of the BEST songs EVERY by Vince Clarke was "Just Can't Get Enough" by Depecheche Mode! When y'all react to that one, keep in mind that it was released in 1979 and it still packs the dancefloor EVERY TIME! I've played it as a DJ in country dance clubs, rock clubs and almost any kind of club you could imagine for 35 years! Check it out. It really stands the test of time!

When I think UK synth pop, as well as bands like Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys... I think Erasure. Really they have consistently made great synth pop. They also (I feel) are very disco and very Abba at times. Which is to say - simple catchy pop songs. They have a huge run of songs to delve into if you like this one. @shrykespeare has listed the finest. Last note - I think its a refreshing change to listen to this kind of stuff, something a big lighter and dance-y.

A music video was made to accompany the song. It features Erasure performing the song on a futuristic stage with a long, connected runway which extends out into the audience. As Bell dances down the runway, it is revealed that the floor is covered in water. Vince Clarke is also seen playing a circular keyboard similar to one previously used by Jean-Michel Jarre. These shots were filmed in London's Leadenhall Market. The synthesizer melody in the chorus is an interpolation of the string break from American singer Gloria Gaynor's disco-era classic "I Will Survive". Wikipedia does confirm as such.
