Something really strange, but cute, happened last night. I was watching this in bed, my little rescued YorkieX snoring at my side. When Sherpa started chatting to Grandpa and Nook, Missy some really excited, ran at real speed down stairs, came back with hedgehog, her favourite toy and put it next to my tablet!!! I think Sherpa must have been talking about play and Missy thought she was included!! Wish I'd have had chance to video it!!

My Gran took care of me like that until the day she passed away at 96… I was 45 when I lost her… I miss her so much… it's been 5 years since she passed and it still feels like yesterday I was just sitting with her and talking about anything and everything… hold on to your Gran as long as possible! There will never be anyone else that loves you the way your Gran does! 🥰

It's funny how Sherpa has become the "elder statesman" of his husky-malamute group. Nook especially has that "young dog" energy, whereas Sherpa is definitely at a more "leisurely stroll" energy level. I'm sure when they hang out and he's "talking" he is imparting his wisdom to Key and Nook; like how best to get chicken balls and sausages or what to say in the Drive-Thru to get a pupp-cup!
