There's another pet from The Awesome Store that has no powers or magic connection with anyone in the family, so the true mystery of Darwin lies with him and the Wattersons. They tend to be at the center of everything weird in the town, and the movie would hopefully expand on that and the void but its been rocky lately.

What’s cool is that the awesome store (the van) was actually a recurring plot point before this, as well as Darwin being “the third” set up this episodes plot pretty well despite retconning some of what we previously knew. Like in a previous episode they literally find Darwin the first’s skeleton

Magic exist in Gumball they can do will things into being real by imagination exorcism for emotion demons one of there friends is a sentient cloud and one of there classmates is a huge giant who’s mom is a witch that lives in a cave and does witchy stuff. They have nearly destroyed reality a few times. The show is highly meta there always breaking every kind of wall.

When it comes to gumball, I've always loved the side character compilations like "Alan's Personality And Biology Are A Horrifying Mystery", "Teri Is A Brutally Tortured Hypochondriac", "Larry Is One Of The Saddest Characters in Animation" and "Sara Should Not Be In A Kid's Show". they're both highly entertaining and let you learn a lot more about the side characters that appear frequently around the show.

My cousin took his fish, Frank, out of it's tank every night and played with him, and then every morning my uncle took Frank's dead body from the tank and put in a new fish and flushed this old one. The question is: Why is Darwin so smart while the rest of the species aren't? It's implied they are, since two goldfish knew what was going to happen when Richard came to the pet store and decided to sacrifice themselves instead of facing the consequences, but are lower when it comes to fish intelligence. Despite the fact that they are quite smart in real life. Perhaps the more 'uplifted' animals like Darwin are smarter than 'non-uplifted' animals?
