hi Andy .. i do Lasagna every month and try and change it every single time but the outcome is always so delicious.. it’s yours and my own version that makes it special.. I will try yours and it’s so close to one mine anyway but you can’t beat it.. I do agree with the supporters that you really should do a Fat Andy homemade cook book .. please think about it because I’d definitely buy it.. you have the skills and to be honest it’s a little bit more income for you.. but regardless you should do it 👍 sending love to you and your family.. Tony carer .. Fakenham 👍❤️👍

Chorizo Cooked and added to the beef. Looks good. But it’s easy to make the white/cheese sauce. Those jars have stuff added that’s not needed

I make a massive one, enough for 12 portions to go in the freezer. I use a beef and red wine jelly cube, Worcestershire sauce, and a Schwartz packet mix in mine. Love it the next day, the layers stay solid.

Looks lovely.. but all you had to do was add one chopped up carrot and half celery stick for the perfect aromatics to combine with the mince. most lasagnes use red wine with the mince aswell before adding the tomatoey goodness. basically what you made was more of a sphag bol sauce incorporated into a lasagne.. you could still have used that but the red wine likely would make it 👍
@fatandy5 ай бұрын
Yeah I know but I did say that it wasn’t the proper Italian recipe, it was my take on a good tasting one on a budget, but saying that I have done one with red wine and it does take it to another level, I might do a proper Italian one in the winter, but yeah I do agree with you 👍

Big fella. Have you ever noticed how often you use the word "old"... .. .the old pasta, the old lasagna, the old bbq, the old mince, the old pan 😂
@fatandy5 ай бұрын
😂😂😂 probably because I’m old 😂😂👍

Interesting take on a lasagna,very different to what you would get in the US,no bouillon cubes,no soy,or Worcester sauce,instead oregano,and basil,often a finely minced carrot,and garlic,then you mix ricotta cheese with an egg,oregano,Parmesan cheese,or you can use cottage cheese,then you start laying usually gets 5-6 layers,then you top with Parmesan,and mozzarella cheese lots of it.I think here it’s more about the taste of tomatoes,and cheese,not so much the beef flavor.I have even made vegetable lasagna,and people didn’t know there was no meat.I used ground up carrots,mushrooms,aubergine,and courgettes,and when in the tomato sauce they look like minced meat,and you still get that American lasagna taste.I think lots of people would really enjoy your lasagna recipe.😊
