🎶.......its beginning to look a lot like Christmas....... 🎶 Loved this. We all need a little bit of magic right now :) The chilli was a grand idea, and so quick to get it together. Nice one, cheers Andy X I put a bit of greaseproof in the bottom of the air fryer, throw in some tortilla chips then cover with grated cheese and just air fry until they're all melty and a bit crispy lol You can add what you like. The biz with chilli :)

Hi, my brother in law made us a chilli the other night, It was amazing , Tasted so different to the ones i make, His recipe includes a few blocks of dark chocolate. It was amazing, never tried before ever with chocolate ,Does not sound like it would work , Love the lights

Yeah chocolate does work cuts through the acidity of the tomato 👍

Chocolate adds depth to the chili, you can add strong coffee that will do the same thing, my supermarket sells Mexican unsweetened chocolate just to add to mole, or chili..😊

The lights were very nice,and lovely they do it for charity. If you would like a Tex Mex taste to your chili you need to add cumin, and oregano, Mexican oregano if available.A strong cup of coffee adds depth, and unsweetened chocolate, beer too.Try a tin of black beans my favorite in chili, I’m not a fan of kidney beans, pinto are good too.😊

Lynne, a noticed you like to use Worcester sauce a make my own, recipe for it, black treacle, malt vinegar, paprika or cayenne, garlic granules, a pinch of ground cloves less than a 1/4 teaspoon some onion granules and a squirt of hp or fruity ketchup , mix it it has to be thinnish , let it stand and strain it into a little bottle so their is no bits , and it's your own homemade lea and Perrin's flavour and it's a great saving if you can rustle some up for sausage and beans. when the mince is in its plastic container, take a flat edge spatula and break it up before adding to the pan. it's easier as it's unable to move.
