@@PintOfStuff Me too! I skated them back in the days and love the strap. When Nike decided to cancel the strap i didnt like them anymore. The strap is their usp. (; This year they will release some basic black-grey-white mids without the strap.

I’m a sucker for black mid soles and that red accent on the sole is really nice . Not huge into mids. First of all that i never saw one in real life but on camera and pictures look like they are a lot shorter than the dunk hi and not much higher than to the regular low ones.

The red sure does pop on the sole and tongue ... mids, for me, are the best summer shoe, they work so well with a pair of shorts versus the low and high ... there’s something about them that just has the right proportions.

So I watched this video, fell in love, found the only 2 shops that are hosting a raffle in the US for a chance to purchase retail and entered 2 hours before the raffle was over... next day I had discovered I had won my first ever dunk raffle after taking Ls all year on every other dunk raffle, ecstatic :D! They were only released in 2 sister skateshops in Seattle home of the Mariners, 35th Ave and 35th North. If anything, they're more of a Euro release as they released in multiple skateshops throughout Europe and only 2 over here. I don't think Ill skate these ever, I feel blessed rn.

Freshwater Griffeys were my favorite shoe growing up and my first cop when started collecting. Seattle cats that grew up in the 90s (86 baby) looked at griffey like MJ... and are releasing them at 1 shop I happen to frequent, and the first seattle exclusive. Resale bouta boom I think. I copped at 250. I need to win the 35th skate shop raffle tho so I can skate 1 and stock 1
