When they are giggly and goofy and laughing, they are just adorable. When they are locked in and grooving, they are just masterful. On their album Future Friends, they are a bit of both. Empire was about a family-run record label and all of the obstacles and stumbles that it took to become and remain successful and powerful. The cast was led by Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, so the acting was top-notch. I enjoyed your reaction very much! Peace …

Love these medleys from them. I think that you need to do one of their originals, Goodbye From Lonely. Their originals are so good. That one gets stuck in my head for the day whenever I hear it. I agree with others that you need to do Happy Little Pill and Defying Gravity as well. I think Defying Gravity was a birthday present from Mitch to Scott.

Great reaction. I have never watched the show either but this is my favourite Superfruit medley. Their voices blend so well together, it's so beautiful it almost hurts, if you know what I mean. They are so in sync with each other and you're dead right it's because they know each other's voices so well as they have been singing together since they were 8 years old. If you want to see them singing together when they were in high school, check out the talent follies in 2009, Mitch sings a solo and also a song with Scott when they were about 17. Also there are a couple of videos on KZbin of the 'trio' - Scott, Mitch and Kirstie - singing together when they were teenagers. My favourite is them doing Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' on stage at a school concert. It's sooo good. Keep the Superfruit and PTX reactions coming, I'm loving them!

This is absolutely one of my favorite SF music videos. The show was about a black family who was involved in the music business, and every week they included original songs which fit into the story line. That high note Mitch hits while singing "See that is can be with your LOVE!", just kills me every time. I don't know of any other singers who could hit that so sweetly - except maybe Michael Jackson. It's all just perfection. Thanks for the great reaction.

Empire is a show about a record label. It's a fictional drama show. I watched the first two seasons. It's pretty good.

I've never watched the show either but I know two things about it that I didn't see others mention yet - Ne-Yo was one of the songwriters and Jennifer Hudson made an appearance and sang one of the songs. If you caught it, during the not-bloopers it said this video was sponsored by FOX. This was actually done as PR for season 2 (and as the only song they did that wasn't entirely their idea, is why they were like "cool, that didn't suck"). That's how big the Superfruit channel was on KZbin for a while, they were legit influencers outside of PTX.

Like many others, I've never watched the show... something about the music business I believe. But this is my favorite medley by SF, tied with the SF Rhianna medley. Originally channel was Sup3rfruit and later changed to Superfruit. It's Scott and Mitch sharing their lives together. They have special artists like Adam Ripon at the ice rank. I don't know if Sony has ownership of Superfruit. I think "OFFICIAL Video's" of Pentatonix are the real blocked ones. A..I from SONY is always looking and searching their artist. When reactors Title their reactions it helps us find other Pentaholics. It also allows Sony to search anything listed by Penatatonix or their song titles. Auto generated ɓlocka and then tells KZbin.

I never watched Empire either and agree this is their song. I must say that a few of their evolution videos I wasn’t much of fan of the artist but now I actually think of those as one whole song. Even Michael Jackson, who I LOVE. Now I hear one of his songs and instantly flow into the next like they do. Lol. Off topic, I miss your silly stories you used to tell back when I first started watching your PTX videos. On the baseball analogy, Kershaw and Barnes have that kind of vibe together. I know the Dodgers really blew it this year but I’m still a diehard fan and there’s always next season. See you on the next one. I might even go back to the beginning of your Pentatonix journey and rewatch them because I really loved your reactions.

The show was really good. Some names are Taraji P Henson Terrance Howard Jessie Smollett. It ki d if went downhill after the drama with Jessie Smollett having been fake attacked or something like that. They had special appearances by famous people such as Alicia keys Cuba gooding Jr, Jennifer Hudson Ne-Yo Chris Rock and so many others who played characters or appeared as themselves. I hated to see it go as would any show who showcased drama within the main cast. I didn't finish the show for other reasons, not because of the drama, bc I don't judge. I wasn't there so I don't know the entire story as broadcasted on the news. All I know is I like the show and have considered finishing it on Hulu or Netflix ...wherever it's is being shown now. The plot is about a family who's roots are music and made it all the way to releasing an IPO and doing our for public trading in the stock market. The family is very disfunctuonal and show the ups and downs of their relationship but is all centered around music. Quite great music as you can see from the snippets of the songs in Superfruit video.

One last comment. Mitch. Scott and PTX as a whole usually do it better. Upgrades. Only a few they run a close second. The Prayer and Bohemian Rhapsody are two off the top of my head that was paid homage more that upgrading. Both are outstanding in their win ways but NO ONE absolutely NO ONE can compete with Queen or Celine Dion or Andre Bocelli and who in their right mind would? But PTX puts their own spin on it and makes those songs theirs. Mary Did You Know? And OHoly Night by the Gaither vocal band are two more. Very VERY close creatively to Mary Did You Know? But no one can hit O Holy Night out of the ballpark like David Phelps did at the Alabama Christmas concert. I'd check those out for Christmas for sure. But songs like Rise and Rhianna, they slayed those. Better than originals
