It might help with headaches depending on how often you drink caffeine. My brother used to drink like 4 pepsis a day and would have bad headaches whenever he went without something caffinated.
@tayamanan2 жыл бұрын
Caffeine causing headaches, mood swings, and Tiredness is very common. Drinking less or stopping all together will cause you to feel like crap for a bit but thats from withdrawal once it's over you feel better and more normal. Most people who cut it out feel over all healthier and better. But it also depends on your sleep schedule and overall diet on how caffeine will effect you. It won't solve all your problems but it will help.
@vallentiines2 жыл бұрын
@@tayamanan this is true! i tried cutting out as much caffeine as i could because i was constantly feeling tired and moody. this was something my therapist suggested to me and it actually helped a lot. cutting out caffeine for the most part has also helped majorly with the feeling of being panicky and jittery, which can just make your anxiety worse. :D !! but !! funfact, caffeine can also have a reverse effect on neurodivergent people !! as someone with ADD (ADHD without the hyperactivity), caffeine always had a reverse effect on me, such as making me very drowsy after drinking coffee, etc. cutting it out has helped a lot with not oversleeping/not sleeping enough, which, makes you feel a lot better. i actually suggest cutting your caffeine intake down if you are in a desperate situation and are trying to get better. you never know if it'll help or not

as someone who’s been in therapy since they were 12, it’s so weird to remember that there’s these stigmas against it. anyway, the most important thing to remember when starting therapy is that there IS good and bad therapists and there’s therapists whose methods just won’t fit you. if someone still doesn’t feel right after a few sessions, it’s best to move on.

As an art student at a top art college, it a scam. I’m literally only going because I plan on being a professor eventually and will need multiple degrees to do so. @corVixens2 жыл бұрын
I don't know how much it'll help you (or anyone else reading with the same stigma), but you have to try to think of having a therapist like "I'm asking you to help me get through my then and now issues" and not "I'm paying you to listen to me vent". Like acknowledge that it is their job, but know that their purpose is to help you, not just listen. Also don't be afraid to switch therapists if you don't jive with one of them! You're going to see them to help you and if you feel like a different personality would help you better, go find that person!
@milol.hammer7282 жыл бұрын
Therapy is something that can help everyone, whether you feel like you "need" it or not. If you have mental health issues, they can provide the assistance you need in dealing with it. Or if you don't have any specific issues, it's still healthy to see a therapist. They can help you get a handle on your feelings and just help you handle life in a healthier way as a whole. I'd really recommend giving therapy a shot, even if you have to try a couple different therapists in order to find someone that actually clicks with you.

Therapy has been so helpful imo, I’ve healed from the things that originally put me in therapy but just being able to walk in and complain has been amazing (especially in college). The first maybe 3-4 sessions were the hardest because you’re really still introducing yourself, but after that? I’ve been absolutely thriving since I have a space to talk about anything without the option of the person lashing out at me.

As someone about to finish my degree in the arts, yes it can be a total scam, if not for two things. One, networking and basically getting your foot in the door, and two, good habits. Art degrees at a good school generally get to a point where you have long term projects so all consuming that you actually have to pace yourself because you physically cannot procrastinate until the last second. Most stuff you learn in college can be found online, but having to develop a good work ethic and self discipline to pass is honestly underrated and can be really useful especially in independent work.

I've felt a bit better, which I've been trying to change habits so that way I can go to college (Geology for Paleobiology), and not feel like crap. Also my dads insurance that I'm on doesn't cover jack-[censor duck]. I'm going to a psychiatrist for meds to regulate my BPD and the insurance *just barely* covers it. I may end up asking my psychiatrist what cheaper options I may have either with him or for other places, but see if I can still go to HIM in the summers. I have a really good one, and I don't want to lose him with how reasonable he is (for myself anyways).

So changing bad habits and worrying on mental health support systems and how I can manage it during college time is the most worrying for me. (I don't have a car, I haven't felt bothered to with how expensive college is. My college provides enough transport and I can use a bike instead of wasting gas on a car I likely wouldn't need when I have much easier transport methods across campus). Also Max, I hope you and Ross and Krista are all handling the situations with Figaro to the best of your ability. I know its rough, and I have you in my thoughts with all the positivity in my being.

While I did end up watching it on my Nintendo switch, I’m glad I can watch it on my phone now

Max don’t worry, I’m also a child of a late divorce. I was leaving for my first year of college and my dad decided he wanted a divorce because they were in a loveless marriage. The part that I laugh about though is that their loveless marriage officially ended on the day of love…yup, their divorce date is Valentine’s Day of this year 😂😂😂

I was gonna say what art are y’all talking about. I am a music arts education major, and I was about to jump on y’all about that. Music is a tough subject when it comes to college.
