Thank you for the reaction. Sohyang's O Holy Night has no parellel. Her vocal control, those A5 - D6, heavenly head voice are so amazing and appropriate. The arrangement of her runs were done gracefully in support of the song, rather than distracting. One can feel the presence of divinity through her singing in this performance.

You can see from the extra video how she works with the orchestra and gets everything as SHE wants it. She is very professional, and wants each orchestra member to play it as she had intended, since most every song she sings, is her own arrangement. Most people do not see this part of her back stage a day before the concert, walking through and listening to everyone to make sure its perfect.

I'm glad she didn't do the Mariah version. The voice type isn't compatible, her mix range is insane but range doesn't mean anything. Mariah for example could go an octave lower than So Hyang but let's face it compared to insanely deep bass vocalists that's like bragging about knocking out Mike Tyson... a cardboard cutout of Mike Tyson. Context matters. This version is engineered for her perfectly.
