That's great news, Scott! I hope everything continues to turn out well.

Great coming out story Scott. I am so happy for you, like you I expected the worst when I came out but got nothing but support. It also helped me that the people I associate with have known me for several years now. I know what you mean by the confidence having a boyfriend brings, I have done braver things with him than I ever thought I would do. You should submit this to the coming out archive.

I find coming out videos to be emotional. I am glad you've had fairly positive responses so far (as of this video). You have a lot of guts! You are a courageous person. Some people write letters or do facebook announcements, because it lets people react internally, and then respond when they have gotten over the shock. There are times when that is an excellent strategy.

It's good to see that things continued to go well for you after you came out. This video is going on my "Coming Out As Gay" KZbin Playlist, along with your original video.

I am proud of you Scott! The gems in music are there if you branch out from the mainstream pop scene. Jpop and Indie bands are where its at for me. I wouldn't give up Ayumi Hamasaki and Joy Electric for the world!

Scott, my general rule is that I only add people on facebook if I have actually met them in person. But, I do make the occasional exception. :-) Congrats on coming out. I wish I'd have had the courage to do that at your age. For me, it's still on ongoing process :-)

I am sorry that coming out for you has been so anxiety inducing. when my freind told us he was gay, no one felt any different about him. he is our friend and that is that. as long as he is happy and safe thats all u should wish for people u care about.

I do miss those 90s days. I mean, music hasn't really been 'good' since like, 1985-86, but 87-98 wasn't too bad...lol. Yeah...
